Study On Public Art Evaluation And Optimization Strategy Of Public Square In Hangzhou Based On POE Method

Public square is an important part of urban public space.Public art plays an important role in displaying the image of the city,improving the quality of public space and public activities.In recent years,with the rapid development of national economy and the acceleration of urbanization,the public art renewal of citizen square has not kept pace with the development of the times,and it is increasingly difficult to meet people's requirements and standards for material living standards.Therefore,this paper uses the Post Occupancy Evaluation(POE)method to conduct a comprehensive and systematic study of all types of public art in Hangzhou public square,looking for the current problems of public art in public square.To explore the optimization strategy of public art of citizen square,improve the quality of public space,and promote the rapid development of urban renewal construction.In this paper,Hangzhou public square public art as the research object,first of all,the theoretical research status at home and abroad are described,the research content and research methods of the article are proposed.Then it studies the theoretical concepts and characteristics of public square,public art and Post Occupancy Evaluation(POE),and finds out the necessity of introducing post use evaluation into public art renewal of Hangzhou public square.Taking Wulin Square,West Lake Culture Square and Qianjiang new town citizen square as research samples,this paper investigates the regional cultural characteristics of Hangzhou and the current situation of the construction of city square,and organizes the pre evaluation factor set by theoretical deduction method and inquiry research method.According to the types of space elements of the public square,the pre evaluation factors are divided into fourmore targeted use evaluation indexes,i.e.landmark public art,plant landscape public art,leisure facilities public art and infrastructure public art.A perfect public art evaluation system of the public square is constructed and a questionnaire is designed.The questionnaire focuses on the users' needs and feelings for the public art in the square,and uses Likert scale to investigate the use of various types of public art in the square.Finally,according to the survey and statistics results,combined with the current situation of public art in the venue,this paper conducts a comprehensive and systematic research and Analysis on the use of public art in Hangzhou public square to understand the actual needs and problems of users.Establish the public art renewal and optimization design strategy of Hangzhou public square,create high-quality public square activity space,and provide a positive role in promoting the space construction and sustainable development of Hangzhou public square.
