The Situational Creation Of Civic Mini-square Landscape Design

This paper is based on the current studies on landscape planning and construction in China’s urban Civic Square, making an analysis of the demands of people’s spiritual space. It finds that in the construction of landscape space, people tend to desire more of the pursuit of spiritual space. We should not only emphasize the material space with a landscape, but desire more of a communicating space with emotions. With the application of theoretical knowledge of relevant fields, the author puts forward the view of the Situational creation in the landscape of the Civic Square.Through the discussion of the application of Civic Mini-square in the city and with it as the media, this paper is to make the design study of emotional atmosphere. It takes the public square in Wulanchabu City area as the design carrier, so as to further explore a set of landscape design methods suitable for the Situational creation of the local landscape, and to apply it to the life of the masses.Firstly, it subdivides the public square, putting forward the concept of Civic Mini-square, and making definition and analysis to the Situation design of micro public squares, thus making a deeper understanding of the construction of the Situational creation of landscapes on public square. In the third part, by learning from the relevant study methods of landscape psychology, through taking the emotion and feeling as the research focus in the spiritual space, it concludes 4 kinds of contextual design principles, as the design analysis’s key points of the following chapters. In the fourth chapter, the main part is the analysis of the actual cases of the Wulanchabu area. Through methods of actual state observation, questionnaire, and other methods, the author makes a comprehensive analysis of the Situation factors for Civic Square, putting forward some opinions and suggestions for the reconstruction of the construction of the landscape Situation unsuitable for the Civic Square. The last part of the paper tries to conclude the Situational creation methods for Civic Mini-square in the area of Wulanchabu through the theoretical analysis and practice study of the above 4 chapters.Of course the ultimate aim of this paper is not limited just to the Situational creation of the micro public square in the area of the Wulanchabu City, but to give a reference to the studying process and method of the landscape Situational of a specific region for the designer. Nevertheless, the author also hopes to provide a new design idea and method for tthe Situational creation of the landscape design of the Civic Mini-square.
