Comparative Study On The Design Of Public Building Skin Between Changchun And Seoul During The Japanese Occupation Period

The urban and architectural development in the area occupied by Japan in modern times is closely related to the colonial history.Changchun and Seoul,the political centers of Japanese colonization of northeast China and the Korean peninsula at that time.The design of public buildings in the same period reflects the commonness of that times under the influence of social,political,economic,cultural and architectural technologies.The most direct representation is the design feature of architectural skin.On the basis of field research on public buildings in Changchun and Seoul during the Japanese occupation period,the author conducts an in-depth analysis and comparative study on the design characteristics of the skin of public buildings in the two cities.This paper attempts to provide a new perspective for the study of modern architectural history in the two places,and hopes to provide useful experience for the conservation and reuse of modern architecture in the two places.This paper is divided into four parts:The first part mainly describes the background and source of this research,gives the specific research object and content,makes clear the research space and time,at the same time,gives the significance and purpose of this research,gives the current research status at home and abroad,and makes a summary and induction.The second part focuses on exploring the specific development rules of public buildings in Changchun and Seoul at different periods during the Japanese occupation period,and introduces the current situation of relevant research.In the third part,the author adopts the method of field investigation,actively looks up relevant literature and materials,through data,pictures and words,systematically describes the design characteristics of roof skin,wall sk in and building detail component skin of public buildings during the Japanese occupation period of Changchun and Seoul.The design characteristics of roof cuticle and wall cuticle are analyzed respectively from two aspects of cuticle structure design and cuticle material design.This paper analyzes the design characteristics of building detail skin,including three parts,entrance,window and decoration.In the fourth part,through the analysis of the design characteristics of the public buildings in Changchun and Seoul during the Japanese occupation period discussed above,the paper analyzes and summarizes the influencing factors of the design characteristics of the public buildings in the two places,and puts forward reasonable suggestion and methods for the protection and renewal of the design of the public buildings in the two places.This research is mainly based on the existing research theories and data,listing the specific development rules and skin design characteristics of public buildings in Chang chun and Seoul during the Japanese occupation period,to make up for the lack of this research field.Then,the design characteristics of the skin of public buildings in the two regions during the Japanese occupation period are compared,so as to explore t he internal relationship among the design characteristics of the skin and the city and the architectural culture under the influence of colonial factors.
