| The process of urbanization in China has given birth to a large number of new urban areas with wide roads, sparse road networks and large streets as the layout of urban space. With the continuous expansion of the scale of new urban areas,in order to solve the parking problem and improve the land utilization rate, the number of underground garages of public buildings in cities has also increased. As an important part of urban static traffic, underground garages of public buildings have many unreasonable designs, which are very likely to cause safety problems. The thesis mainly follows the principle of "problem formulation-theory construction-problem analysis-problem solving".The basic idea of the thesis is based on the CPTED theory, and summarizes the environmental characteristics that affect the security into accessibility, visibility, domain, recognition, positivity and intention. And based on this,a scale questionnaire is designed.By conducting field research on underground garages of public buildings in New urban district of Changchun and taking real photos, questionnaires were distributed and basic data were collected according to three parts: node location, path location and regional location.and then statistically analysed with the help of SPSS software to summarise the spatial characteristics of different parts of the underground garage that affect the participants’ sense of security and the order of their influence on each other. Finally, combined with the CPTED design strategy, the thesis provides constructive advice to three areas that affect the design of security and safety, namely the nodes, the pathways and the zones, and is summarised as a general design guideline. The thesis hopes that through the reasonable design and improvement of environmental factors in underground garages of public buildings, the safety coefficient of underground garages can be improved,a good defense space can be created, the crime rate can be reduced, the security of environmental participants can be enhanced to the greatest extent, and a safe psychological and behavioral environment can be created. It provides ideas for solving the problem of underground garage defense security in public buildings in new urban areas, provides effective reference for urban construction and management, and provides theoretical support for the development of relevant specification standards. |
