At present,the trend of global economic integration is obvious,but the Mongolian economy still has a large gap compared with developed countries and developing countries,and the national economic level needs to be further improved.At present,Mongolia has abundant mineral resources and huge potential for development of renewable resources,which provides favorable conditions for Mongolia's economic development,but lack of reliable and sustainable power supply provides power for the development of mineral resources and renewable energy both its economic value and resource benefits are not fully utilized.Power consumption is closely related to economic development.The development of the power industry is a prerequisite for the sustainable development of a country's industry and overall economy.Therefore,it is necessary to establish a power market structure that meets the requirements of reliable power supply and market economy.Design of the power market has to promote the improvement of Mongolia's economic level,and should help Mongolia's resources to exert economic value,and promote the efficient development of Mongolia's power industry.First,by analyzing the economic development of Mongolia in recent years and the current conditions of energy resources,analysis of the related theoretical research status of electricity economics,energy economics and electricity market in Mongolia and abroad,thesis compared the development process of domestic electricity market and abroad,then discussing the progress and the importance also the urgency of power market design.Secondly,based on the basic principles of microeconomics,the product supply and demand price curve and the principle of market equilibrium are introduced.The basic theory and main methods of electricity demand forecasting are expounded.At the same time,this chapter also elaborates the basic theory of electricity trading,including the definition and classification of electricity trading and the four operating modes of electricity market,which lay a theoretical foundation for the design of electricity market.Then,it analyzes and summarizes the development status of the Mongolian power industry.Thesis based on the Grey Model,combined with the electricity demand of the Mongolian electricity market and national GDP growth,population data,making the electricity demand forecast of the Mongolian electricity market in 2020.Combined with the prediction results,an optimal purchasing model was established for the mediumand long-term electricity market in Mongolia.Finally,the design of the Mongolian electricity market was carried out.First,the construction conditions of the Mongolian electricity market were analyzed from three aspects: power supply construction,power transmission network construction,and power information network construction.Based on this,the overall design idea of the electricity market is constructed,and the Mongolian electricity market is designed from the aspects of the electricity market level,electricity market transaction mode,and electricity market technical support system.Finally,the construction steps of the Mongolian electricity market are proposed in three stages.
