Research On BIM Technology Application In EPC Mode

As a pillar industry of the national economy,the construction industry has developed steadily in recent years.Based on the nature of labor-intensive industry,its growth rate is still lower than that of GDP.As one belt,one road construction boom,China's construction industry EPC mode is widely applied in international projects.In recent years,with the advancement of BIM technology,the research of EPC mode based on BIM technology has become the focus of current research.This paper analyzes and discusses the research status of BIM Technology at home and abroad through literature analysis,and concludes that BIM information technology has become an advanced means in the field of engineering construction both at home and abroad,and the application of BIM information technology will greatly improve the completion efficiency of the project.Then,the concept of EPC model and related connotation,characteristics and other basic theories are summarized,and on this basis,the advantages and limitations of the current development of EPC model are analyzed.According to the application status of EPC mode,this paper finds out the existing problems,puts forward the inevitability of the combination of EPC mode and BIM Technology,discusses the specific application of BIM Technology in EPC mode,and further analyzes the problems existing in the application of BIM Technology in EPC mode,and puts forward corresponding solutions to these problems.Finally,through the actual case analysis to verify the implementation and popularization of the relevant strategies.In a word,this paper provides a solution strategy for the slow development of BIM technology in EPC mode by identifying problems,proposing problems and solving problems,and puts forward Suggestions for the future development direction of BIM technology in EPC mode.
