Granary as an important agricultural storage building in China has a long history,is the witness of agricultural civilization development, but also bearing the historical memory of rural culture. With the reform of China's food system, the traditional soil silo is gradually replaced by the modern high-tech grain reserve base, and the soil silo is also abandoned and forgotten. Therefore,to protect the traditional granary and create its new function and use value is to preserve the important mark in the history of granary construction in China. In the process of protecting the traditional granary architecture, combining the development trend and policy of the new era in China,it is an extremely innovative and valuable research subject to use the method of regenerative design to make rational use of the traditional granary and integrate it into the local folk culture to promote the development of local tourism economy.According to the current research results and design practice, the transformation of traditional granary is like the activity center, exhibition hall, apartment building, commercial space, home stay hotel and other forms. This article is based on traditional silos soil as the main object, through the literature collection,on-the-spot investigation, analysis, comparison and evaluation of rivers,multi-level research methods, such as soil silos way of form, space, construction and other aspects are analyzed, and the regeneration design method research and regenerative design practice to support each other. This study is an innovative attempt on the topic of spatial regeneration design of traditional barns in bayu and also provides a method and path for similar renovationdesign. This paper is divided into six chapters, chapter three, chapter four and chapter five are the key chapters. The first chapter is the introduction part, which describes the research background of this subject, introduces the research content and framework as well as the research status at home and abroad, and clarifies the research purpose and significance. The second chapter combs the historical development and main types of traditional granary, and deeply analyzes the local landscape connotation of traditional granary in bayu geographical context. The third chapter of existing rivers, generalizes the main types of traditional silos and has chosen the representative soil silos has carried on the on-the-spot investigation, and carries on the analysis of the situation and characteristics of research, set up a comprehensive evaluation of ba-yu traditional granary table,to rivers, traditional design method of granary regeneration research and regenerative design practice to provide a theoretical basis and design basis. The fourth chapter summarizes the principles of regeneration design suitable for bayu traditional granary, puts forward the design methods of evaluation, darning, replacement, transformation and reconciliation, and analyzes the reflection of regeneration design value of bayu traditional granary in ecology, aesthetics and society. The fifth chapter takes the old granary of changping village as the design practice and combines the principle of regeneration design to prove the feasibility of regeneration design method.Relying on local natural conditions and resource characteristics,it combines rural tourism with farming and reading culture to create a "college farming and reading farm",forming a regenerative design case that conforms to contemporary aesthetics,ADAPTS to the surrounding environment and has artistic and cultural connotations. The sixth chapter summarizes the paper, points out the shortcomings of the paper and prospects the future development of traditional granary regeneration design.
