This paper takes the overflow valve used in the multi-way valves for construction machinery such as crawler crane and rotary drilling developed by our company as the research object,and calculates the static performance of the overflow valve according to the theory of fluid mechanics through the design of basic parameters and performance analysis of the overflow valve.The Solid Works and AMESIM models are used to simulate and optimize the dynamic performance of the cartridge relief valve.Finally,some simulation results are verified by experiments.The main tasks are as follows:(1)Analyze the structure of the overflow valve,propose the difficulties to be overcome in product design,innovate the design to meet the operating conditions,and give preliminary solutions to the difficulties.(2)Design calculation and verification.According to the requirements of the external dimensions of the overflow valve in the multi-way valve,the overall structure,the geometric dimensions of the parts and the stress of the pressure spring are designed and calculated.Through design calculation,the parameters of each part of the overflow valve are preliminarily determined to provide theoretical basis for later drawing design and process design optimization.(3)Simulation analysis.Three dimensional modeling software Solid Works is used to establish the model of the main valve port and realize the parameterization of the model.AMESim is used to build the mathematical simulation model of the overflow valve and the force model of the cone spool and guide seat.The expression of each force is calculated and the force balance equation is established.The influence of adjusting spring stiffness and damping hole diameter on the opening and closing characteristics and pressure stability of the overflow valve is analyzed in order to seek an optimal solution.(4)Experimental research.The experimental system of cartridge type overflow valve was set up,and the static and dynamic experimental research was carried out on the experimental prototype.Combined with design calculation and simulation,make sure the hydraulic valve optimization scheme,improve productperformance.The comparison of experimental parameters and simulation results confirm that the design and simulation of the cartridge type overflow valve are reasonable.
