A Study On The Spatial Distribution And Driving Forces Of Forest Wellness Base In China

Under the background of great health,forest wellness tourism has ushered in new opportunities for development.Since Chinese forestry industry association launched the first batch of national forest wellness base selection in 2015,the development of China's forest wellness bases has entered a peak period.At present,domestic researches on forest wellness tourism are mostly theoretical frameworks,while the research on the forest wellness base is relatively small,especially from the perspective of space.Analysis of the spatial structure and driving force of the forest wellness base is of great significance for optimizing the layout of the forest wellness base and promoting the sustainable development of forest wellness tourism.Based on the concepts and research results of forest wellness bases,this paper uses theories of industrial integration,tourism location,industrial clusters,and experience economy to take a total of 374 pilot units of forest wellness bases as the research objects.Then,through the research methods of nearest-neighbor index,nuclear density analysis,and scale index,the spatial distribution of forest wellness bases was analyzed from three scales: national,economic zones,and prefecture-level cities.Research indicates:(1)Overview of spatial distribution: The forest wellness bases are widely distributed;the number of forest wellness bases in the eastern economic zone are significantly less than that in the centraland western economic zones;the prefecture-level city areas show the phenomenon of "large radiation and small concentration".(2)Spatial distribution type: The distribution type of forest wellness base in different scales is "agglomerative",but the degree of agglomeration is different.(3)Spatial distribution characteristics: The forest wellness bases are characterized by low-density concentrated contiguous,while high-density distribution in the form of "rotating Y";the spatial distribution characteristics of forest wellness bases in different economic zones are distinctive;the scale index of each prefecture-level city is low,that is,the number of forest wellness base is relatively small.Based on the study of the spatial distribution characteristics of forest wellness bases,this paper proposes a conceptual model of spatial distribution driving force of forest wellness bases,and then the influence of the five driving forces of ecological environment,resources,economy,transportation and tourism was analyzed.Subsequently,a driving force index system was constructed,and a stepwise regression model was introduced to explain the driving effects at different scales in detail.The results show that: ecological environment,economy,transportation,and tourism are the main driving forces for the spatial distribution of forest wellness bases nationwide;economy and transportation are the core driving forces of the eastern economic zone;the driving force of the central economic zone is consistent with the nationwide;resources,transportation and tourism are the driving forces of the western economic zone.Finally,this paper analyzes the dislocations and causes of the spatial distribution and health maintenance resources,spatial distribution and tourist market,spatial distribution and tourism services of forest wellness bases.Puts forward optimization countermeasures from the perspectives of planning,market and brand,in order to form a scientific and reasonable spatial pattern of forest wellness.
