The Influence Of Community Park Reconstruction On Children's Outdoor Activities

As an important part of children-friendly city construction,community parks are the main space for children's outdoor activities.They are also an important place for children to start neighborhood communication,and have an irreplaceable position for children's growth and development.At present,more and more studies start from the physiological and behavioral characteristics of children to propose the construction principles and design strategies of child-friendly community parks.Whether the above conclusions can really promote children's activities has not been tested by practice and theory.The “Nature Experiment” study can not only verify the effectiveness of the construction strategy,but also provide theoretical support for future planning and design,and increase the credibility of the research.Therefore,this study takes the Shenzhen Hongli Community Park Reconstruction Project as an opportunity to investigate and analyze the changes of the environment and children's outdoor activities before and after the park reconstruction,and combine the childfriendly community park planning and design theory to verify the effectiveness of the community park reconstruction strategy.Based on the theory of child-friendly community park construction,this paper selects Shenzhen Hongli Community Park as the experimental site,divides the park into 7 experimental units,and uses the method of Behavioral Mapping to carry out the field activities of children's outdoor activities before and after environmental transformation.Observe the investigation and conduct data statistics and feature presentation on the survey results.Combining the existing research results to analyze the community park construction strategy that affects children's outdoor activities,explore the impact of experimental site structure changes on outdoor activities,and the impact of specific design changes on the activity content of the experimental site,and further focus on the same experimental unit environmental transformation in the site.The influence of children's outdoor activities before and after the impact of children's outdoor activities on the outdoor activities of children,the effectiveness of transformation is judged and evaluated,and finally the core points needed for effective strategies for child-friendly community park construction are summarized.The study found that in the construction of the site,the site with a large continuous activity area and the rich pavement form can effectively promote children's outdoor activities;in terms of space construction,the larger open space in the dynamic event site can effectively promote children's outdoor activities;in the construction of facilities,children's special game facilities and introverted facilities with a sense of enclosure can effectively promote children's outdoor activities;in terms of green vegetation,naturalized grassland and tall trees providing shade can effectively attract children come to the event.By extracting the key elements from the above conclusions,it is proposed that the effective construction strategy of childfriendly community parks should inject naturalized game elements into the construction of community parks,provide an inspiring imagination carrier for the development of children's activities,and communicate with different groups of people.Three aspects of providing a compatible space for communication are discussed and constructed for the core points.
