Study On The Design Of Indoor Public Activity Spaces For The Aged Facilities In Northwest China

In the context of the serious aging of the global population structure and the increase of the elderly population in our country,the process of aging in the Northwest is also accelerating.And because the northwestern region is inland,its economic development and medical conditions are significantly different from those of developed regions in China,and it cannot meet the daily care and medical needs of the elderly.Therefore,it has become a trend to choose an institutional pension model.Among them,the indoor public activity space is responsible for various activities such as elderly communication,cultural learning,rehabilitation exercises,etc.,is an important part of elderly care facilities,and has a direct impact on the elderly's spiritual culture and quality of life However,the current research on the design standards of elderly facilities in the Northwest is lagging behind,and the research on the design of indoor public activity spaces is lacking,which can only refer to the national industry standards.Based on the above situation,the author combined with the unique regional characteristics of Northwest China to design and research the indoor public activity space of nursing facilities.In order to conduct in-depth research on the subject,this article first understands the current status of domestic and foreign related theories and disciplines,as well as the current status of aging,domestic and foreign aging,nursing models,and architectural design examples of nursing facilities.The design of the event space is discussed,and the design focus of the public event space in this article is the foyer space,corridor space,event space and restaurant space.Secondly,based on the previous theoretical research,the author adopts actual surveys and interview questionnaires to analyze the overview of nursing facilities in Northwest China,the state of facility management,the spatial plane and organization,and the specific conditions of public spaces,and summarize the current situation.Based on the results of quantitative analysis on the characteristics of the elderly in the indoor public spaces of nursing facilities,as well as the excellent examples of architectural design of foreign nursing facilities,the design principles and strategies of indoor public spaces for nursing facilities in Northwest China are summarizedFinally,the author designs and applies the actual research and selected cases,and makes an in-depth explanation and research on the basic overview of public space,the general use of space,the specific performance of each space,and environmental details It is hoped that through the design and research of the indoor public space environment of the elderly buildings in the Northwest,the scientific basis and practical basis will be enriched to improve the quality of life of the elderly,thereby creating public spaces with local characteristics,rationalization and safety.
