Study On The Defensive Characteristics Of Traditional Villages In JingXing

Jingxing area has a large number of traditional villages with a long history.The ancestors inherited from generation to generation,accumulated a lot of experience in the process of construction and development of the village,which made it have the regional defense function of avoiding natural disasters and human invasion,so it can be better preserved up to now.To explore the concept of defense in the construction of Jingxing traditional villages and to sort out the relatively complete defense characteristics is conducive to improving the comprehensive and targeted protection of traditional villages.After many times of in-depth investigation on the implementation site of the village,through observation,interview and other ways,we have a deep understanding of the security needs and defense concepts of the villagers at different spatial levels,combed the defense characteristics of the spatial forms at various levels,and summarized the relatively complete defense methods of typical villages in Jingxing area.By summarizing and sorting out the relevant data,this paper divides the spatial form of traditional villages into three levels: overall spatial pattern,block spatial organization and building space construction.At the level of overall spatial pattern,villagers have infiltrated their safety needs and defense concepts of harmonious coexistence with nature in site selection and layout,including flood prevention strategies made in response to natural climate,production and life security in response to terrain and geomorphic characteristics,and defense and defense strategies in pursuit of peace and stability.From the perspective of flood and drought prevention,fire prevention and control,and enemy defense,the paper summarizes the specific defense methods.Block space is the main activity space of people's social interaction.People have group consciousness in the defense concept of this level,and they have jointly formulated rules and regulations of constraint behavior,which also affects the formation and development of village space form.At the level of building space construction,the concept of defense is extracted from the security needs of villagers for private living environment,which can be summarized into three aspects: optimization of living environment,daily fire safety and privacy field prevention.Then it summarizes the defense characteristics and methods under the influence of these three aspects,and summarizes the unique regional characteristics in the construction of Jingxing traditional villages.
