Big event is an important issue faced by every city in the world and an important tool for cities to improve their competitiveness and achieve their strategic goals.With China's comprehensive national strength increasing,the development of social economy by leaps and bounds,as a developing country,in recent years,more and more get the hosting of international events,especially in large and medium-sized cities,large exhibition event has been held into People's Daily city life,the success of the big events also have positive sense to the development of the city.Because of its large scale and deep influence,big events have been discussed and studied by scholars from all walks of life.Due to the large investment and large footprint of large-scale exhibition events,it is particularly important to study how to use the site in the city after the end of the exhibition.How to make better use of the influence of major events and the subsequent utilization of sites to drive the development of relevant urban areas and cities is a meaningful and worth in-depth discussion.Based on the exposition of the subsequent use of as the research content,based on the study of the related concepts and theories,through the data collected,a summary of both the case study,documentary analysis method combined with field investigation,questionnaire survey method,explore the exhibition cases the aftermath of a big event and could use the methods,and generalizations.Based on the specific cases of Yanqing international garden fair in 2019,after in-depth discussion on the follow-up utilization of the park,valuable planning schemes and reference planning and design methods and strategies are proposed for the follow-up utilization of Yanqing international garden fair in 2019.
