The Research Of Planning And Design Method Of International Horticultural Exposition Based On Resource-conserv-ing Gardens

China is rich in natural resources but poor in per-capita resources volume. In recent years, the damaging of the environment and the wasting of resources frequently occured in the process of Urbanization and has greatly hampered the development of our economy and society. As a important city event, the International Horticultural Exposition can largely promote regional economic development in one hand, but bring about some negative influences to the environment on the other hand.This thesis tried to introducing the conception of "Resource-conserving Gardens" to the process of International Horticultural Exposition planning and tried to explore a way of planning the International Horticultural Exposition by using resources reasonably and pro-tecting our environment effectively. This thesis use the literature integrated, field surveys, case studies, case design as the research methods and research the problem from many aspect such as land-saving, water-saving, material-saving, energy-saving. This thesis would provide a new thought and vision to the planning of the International Horticultural Exposition.
