| With the rapid progress of urbanization from "increment" to "stock" and the sharp impact of e-commerce consumption,people’s demand for a city’s cultural sense of belonging,spatial experience and spiritual culture has increased.Many old city pedestrian commercial streets are facing many difficulties,such as environmental quality deterioration,business quality decline,etc.However,with the arrival of the era of experience economy,regional cultural experience may become an important opportunity,and it will also become a new topic of pedestrian street research.This paper focuses on the rich and unique regional cultural content of the Pearl River Delta,and considers how to integrate the diversified and personalized regional cultural experience into the design of the pedestrian mall.Starting from commercial pedestrian streets in the old urban area of Pearl River Delta,this paper selects four streets for field investigation and analysis of regional cultural experience perception,summarizes the current characteristics and problems,and considers the improvement of experience quality,hoping to provide valuable reference for the improvement of regional cultural experience quality of the pedestrian mall in the Pearl River Delta in the future.This paper consists of four parts.The first part is starting from the background and research object,it summarizes the relevant theoretical basis of human experience and regional cultural development.It discusses the development process,practical difficulties and development trend of the Commercial Pedestrian Street at home and abroad.And it discusses the theoretical and practical significance of the research.The second part mainly discusses the relationship between "regional culture","experience" and pedestrian street.It combs the regional cultural background of the Pearl River Delta,summarizes the regional cultural characteristics of the Pearl River Delta and summarizes its forms of expression,then it combs out five types of regional cultural experience elements and regional cultural experience system model.The third part is the investigation and analysis part.it focuses on the development and characteristics of the old city pedestrian streets in the Pearl River Delta,and selects four typical pedestrian streets with regional cultural characteristics,and carries out the questionnaire survey and field survey design of regional cultural experience perception.Then,it makes a comparative analysis and correlation analysis of the data content of the questionnaire The relationship between the experience mediums and the regional cultural experience elements is concluded,and then the characteristics of the regional cultural experience mediums in the field research of four old city pedestrian commercial streets are summarized,which deepens the spatial cognition of the regional cultural experience of pedestrian commercial streets.The fourth part is the thinking of improving the quality of regional cultural experience.On the basis of the first three chapters,aiming at the future development of the old city pedestrian mall in the Pearl River Delta,the paper proposes the corresponding methods of improving the quality of regional cultural experience on the five experience mediums: Cultural theme positioning,street space,architectural form,landscape facilities,business services and cultural activities. |
