With the increasingly fierce competition in China's home appliance market,the development of new products has become an unavoidable point of contention between each manufacturer.After nearly 30 years of development in the microwave oven industry in China,Initially formed a duopoly monopoly represented by Midea and Galanz;in the domestic market,the two companies use their own brands to operate the entire value chain.In the foreign market,OEM,ODM,SKD,etc.Account for more than 70% of the global manufacturing volume;the threat to the American white kitchen appliance manufacturer WHP Microwave Co.Although WHP has increased its planning in the Chinese market and controlled Hefei Rongshida Group,its future challenges cannot be ignored.This article takes WHP microwave oven products as an example,applies modern quality management theory,and scientific methods to analyze and diagnose its quality problems.Analyzed the causes of its quality problems,starting from the current quality of existing products,and referring to the quality requirements of the home appliance industry.Using the comprehensive quality management theory as the basis,it mainly improves the quality management of new products.Using questionnaire surveys,multi-department visits and historical data analysis methods.Diagnosed the main cause of enterprise quality problems.Several quality management tools have been applied,such as SPC,QFD,DOE and FMEA,etc.,which has improved product design,verification and process capability to meet requirements.This paper integrates,QFD,FMEA,DOE,SPC and other tool science together to provide a powerful guarantee for companies to produce high-quality new products.So as to meet the customer's requirements to the greatest extent,while reducing the cost of product quality.And from the four aspects of corporate culture,organizational processes,personnel training and information management to provide safeguards.At the same time,we must improve the production environment.Fully implement 6S management,apply lean production management concepts,improve employees' quality awareness and problem-solving ability,and produce good products that satisfy customers.By adopting the above improvement measures,the customer complaint rate of WHP microwave oven products has been reduced from 2.5% to 1.8%,the product quality improvement ability has been greatly improved,and the management level has also been significantly improved.It has certain practical significance for strengthening WHP microwave company to reduce production cost,improve product quality and maintain competitiveness.
