Study On Landscape Construction Of Peony Specialized Garden In Jiangnan Area

Peony is a unique flower in China,has a long history and profound cultural heritage,with high medicinal value,cultural value and ornamental value.In the south of the Yangtze River,peony is commonly found in traditional gardens and peony-themed special gardens.Based on the unique regional culture and peony culture in the south of the Yangtze River,to study the peony garden in the south of the Yangtze River,In order to broaden people’s understanding of peony and peony landscape construction,and provide guidance for the application and practice of peony in Jiangnan gardens,this paper focuses on the theory and techniques of landscape construction,analyzes and summarizes the typical cases,applies the results of theoretical research to the practice,and designs Jinhua Peony Culture Park in order to broaden people’s understanding of peony and peony landscape construction,and provides guidance for the application and practice of peony in Jiangnan gardens.On the basis of literature review and case study,the following results have been achieved:(1)Through the method of literature reading,this paper combs out the history of peony’s rise and declining since the Sui Dynasty to the reform and opening up,and summarizes the cultural connotation of peony regional culture,folk custom,painting art and spiritual culture.(2)Through the study of peony and its landscape value,the application forms of peony in garden,including special garden,flower platform,flower mirror,flower bed and so on,are sorted out.And the special kind of garden research,analysis and summary of the special kind of garden more humane and diversified,more perfect function,more focus on the theme of cultural expression of the development trend.(3)This paper studies and analyzes the expression of peony culture in the landscape construction of peony special garden,which has direct utilization type,borrowing type and artistic conception expression type.And select the representative peony garden in the south of the Yangtze River for field case investigation,analysis of its landscape techniques,summed up the mountain and stone water system as the carrier,inject cultural characteristics,highlight the peony theme,surrounded by tall shade plants,with garden architectural sketches of peony special garden landscape construction techniques.(4)Through the study of case and theory,combined with the demand of peony for growing environment and the ecological habits of peony,this paper summarizes the rules of landscape construction of peony special garden in Jiangnan area,including variety selection;artificial terrain to avoid stagnant water;plant configuration,combination of tree and irrigation,shade ventilation;cultural input,enhance connotation;collocation architecture,create artistic conception.On the basis of analyzing the present situation of the site and excavating Jinhua culture and peony culture,the landscape construction techniques of the peony special garden in the south of the Yangtze River were applied to the planning and design of the Jinhua peony cultural garden,and the special garden landscape with peony as the theme was created,so as to promote and guide the future construction of peony.
