Research On The Renewal Design Of Outdoor Landscape Of General Hospital Based On The Concept Of Horticultural Therapy

With the accelerated growth the medical landscape environment has an important position in patient recovery and relieving the work pressure of medical staff.Based on the needs of medical and patient groups,the concept of horticulture therapy is introduced into the outdoor landscape design of general hospitals,with the aim of creating a good outdoor landscape environment for treatment,visitation,research and rehabilitation,so that medical and patient groups can get physical and mental recovery and health care,thus improving the sense of social well-being.Firstly,based on the background of medical paradigm transformation,the theoretical research related to the classification,characteristics,user needs and environmental demands of horticultural therapy and outdoor landscape of general hospitals is clarified through analyzing the current situation of domestic and international research.Taking the outdoor healing landscape of general hospitals as the research content,we combine the design methods of horticultural therapy to improve the outdoor landscape of general hospitals and create a comfortable and pleasant natural healing environment.On this basis,we analyze the relevant characteristics of patients in terms of physiology,psychology and behavior with the patient group as the main object,and compare and analyze the excellent cases at home and abroad to explore the feasible methods of developing horticultural therapy in general hospitals.Secondly,the development status and the current situation of green space in three tertiary general hospitals in Xi’an were investigated and analyzed through field survey and questionnaire distribution.The results show that the problems of outdoor landscape environment are:chaotic traffic order,insufficient green area,single spatial level,and lack of humanized design.Through the results of SPSSPRO analysis,it was finally concluded that the degree of willingness to participate in horticultural therapy among the patient groups in general hospitals was,in descending order,sensory horticultural therapy,creative horticultural therapy,and interactive horticultural therapy.Finally,the design principles and strategies of outdoor landscape renewal in general hospitals under the concept of horticultural therapy were proposed in response to the existing problems.On the basis of the universal strategy research,a specific case practice study is proposed for the outdoor landscape of Xi’an Tangdu Hospital.The purpose of this study is to provide theoretical and practical basis for the study of outdoor landscape renewal design of general hospitals based on the horticultural therapy concept,and to provide ideas for creating a healthy and comfortable medical and health care environment for medical and patient groups.At the same time,the horticultural therapy concept can be introduced and promoted in medical institutions in a systematic and scientific way.
