The inlet and outlet of pumped storage power station can be divided into vertical shaft type and lateral horizontal type.Compared with lateral horizontal type,vertical shaft type has many advantages,such as flexible layout,small amount of work,and solving the problem of water outlet crossing the dam.In spite of this,the usage frequency of vertical shaft inlet and outlet is low in China,among which the most critical technical difficulty is the construction of rectification cone and concrete slab.Due to the fact that the tunnel section is below the rectification cone,such mass concrete as concrete cover plate and rectification cone belongs to suspension construction,and the situation is complicated and difficult to be solved.This is the important reason that hinders the promotion of vertical shaft inlet and outlet.In this paper,the technical problems of construction of concrete slab and rectifying cone in shaft inlet and outlet of pumped storage power station are studied.In this paper,the vertical inlet and outlet of a pumped storage power station is taken as the research object.Firstly,a comparative analysis is made on the support scheme from the aspects of economy and safety.Then,the scheme of the steel platform is determined by theoretical analysis and numerical simulation.Secondly,according to the formal installation iteration method,the engineering stage is successively decomposed into several construction processes,including the construction analysis before the first tension,the analysis during the first tension,the rectification cone construction,the second tension analysis,and the concrete slab construction.Finally,the finite element analysis software is used to analyze whether the changes of deformation,stress and cable force in different stages meet the requirements of the specification and design.Construction monitoring is also an important part.Real-time monitoring of stress and deformation will effectively ensure construction safety,and finally compare with the design value to verify the feasibility of this subject.Through the research on the construction technology of rectification cone and concrete slab,this topic will break the biggest obstacle to the promotion of vertical shaft inlet and outlet.It also provides data and precedents for such difficult hydraulic structure problems,which ultimately makes the use of pumped storage power stations more efficient and solves the problem of power energy demand in China.
