Pumped storage power station in China has developed rapidly,and has become the country with the largest installed capacity of pumped storage power in the world.Safety monitoring automation is an important construction content of building digital and intelligent pumped storage power station.In this paper,the safety monitoring automation system is analyzed and studied,and applied in the practice of Tai'an pumped storage power station.The main contents of this paper include:Based on the literature data,the significance of safety monitoring automation of pumped storage power station is summarized,and the development history of safety monitoring automation is introduced.The research contents and technical route of safety monitoring automation based on the Tai'an pumped storage power station are introduced.The design of automatic data acquisition system of Distributed Monitoring Based on BGK-MICRO as the core,covering equipment selection,measurement unit number and address encoding,connecting different types of instrument cable and measuring unit channel port,communication network and system architecture,power supply system and lightning protection grounding scheme.The LAN structure and communication connection of the monitoring management center station are set up.and the functions of the acquisition software and the channel configuration methods of various sensors are expounded.The way of safety monitoring information system plan and function realization.the system software is composed of safety monitoring information management software,dam safety monitoring information network,data transfer software,remote data transmission software and information submitted to the software component,the isolation device realizes the intranet and LAN physical isolation and data transmission.The research results are applied to the safety monitoring automation transformation project of Tai'an pumped storage power station,and a unified engineering safety management platform is constructed,which realizes the management of the water harvesting project and the engineering safety monitoring,and improves the monitoring quality and efficiency.The research results have good reference value for the automation transformation of similar projects.
