Study On Urban Axis Space Of Gaolan Road,Lanzhou City

The urban axis has occupied an important position in the city since ancient times.In contemporary times,the "axis" has evolved into an important method in urban planning,which can be applied to the design of the axis in individual buildings,group combinations and urban space.The axis space in a city can highlight the cultural characteristics and historical background of the city.Architecture and urban design has changed from the initial emphasis on function to the current focus on the development of formal beauty based on function.The axis has been active in the stage of architecture and space.Nowadays,the weakening of the sense of place brought by globalization is especially evident in the construction of urban central areas.In the whole process of urban renewal,the neglect of the continuation of urban memory leads to the disappearance of urban cultural faults and traditions.Meanwhile,in the process of urban renewal and transformation,the city should focus on the improvement of the quality of public space and the excavation of urban characteristics.Therefore,it is an urgent problem to improve the quality of public space and continue the urban context in the current urban renewal process by taking axis space as the main research object and streets,buildings and landscapes as carriers.Starting from the historical origin of the axis,this paper analyzes the evolution of the axis,expounds the concept and characteristics of the urban axis,and classifies and summarizes the axis.By comparing different urban axis designs of different cities and different types,this paper tries to find out the law of constructing urban axis space and the role of streets,buildings and landscapes as carriers in the axis space.Based on the background research and literature review,it is proposed that the main components of urban memory are subject elements(subject appeal,emotional characteristics),object elements(cultural symbols,site functions)and time elements(important time nodes).City memory way for "extract-implant-ii",in combination with the urban development background of the lanzhou city,and gao LAN road axis space in lanzhou city were analyzed,and the special position in the early through the site investigation work,analyzing the status quo of the gao LAN road axis of the city space and the existing problems,through the questionnaire survey the surrounding residents to gao LAN road axis of overall satisfaction,gives the basic principles and space shape optimization strategy,the main node to gao LAN road and analyzes characteristics of road network,restore the prototype of gao LAN road,from the space frame,places of public space quality promotion,the street landscape design,memory and other aspects,To explore the creation of an axis space with urban characteristics.Put forward from the perspective of place spirit and the urban memory of urban space update way,improving the quality of the axis of the city and the surrounding space,and is the application of micro level practice,is also a perfect actively expand of urban renewal theory,promote the identity of the local urban residents,and provide the theory and practice for thefuture urban renewal experience.
