Research On Risk Control Management Of The General Contractor Desigener Under The International EPC Mode

In recent years,one country has advocated the one belt,one road policy,and more and more engineering enterprises have gone abroad to enter the international arena.International engineering projects usually adopt EPC mode for general contracting,with which the owner transfers most of the risks to the contractor.Therefore,if the contractor can not do a systematic and comprehensive risk control of the project,it is easy to have risk events in the implementation process.There are a large number of designs that have been transformed from the traditional design industry to the general contracting mode in China.Because of the solidification of the traditional design management concept,the designers of the general contracting projects under the international EPC mode can not have a comprehensive and sufficient understanding of the project risks in time,which is very easy to cause contract disputes.Based on this consideration,this paper puts forward and designs a set of risk management process which can be applied and used by the Design Institute in the early stage of transformation as the designer of EPC project At the same time,the effectiveness of this process is verified by combining the risk management of the designer of K hydropower station in Africa.This paper is divided into six chapters.In Chapter 1,the background,purpose,significance,contents and methods of the research are proposed.In Chapter 2,through reading related literature,we have a further understanding of the development history of international risk management,the basic research and empirical research of international EPC project risk management,so as to find the theoretical basis for subsequent attempts to set up the process.In Chapter 3,the common risk problems of international EPC are listed,and the current situation of risk management of the designer of the EPC project under the international EPC mode is found through literature search and field research,and the specific risk characteristics of the designer of the EPC project under the international EPC mode are further summarized.Chapter 4 is the key content of this paper,through the analysis of specific problems,research and design a set of international EPC mode EPC project designer risk control management process.Chapter 5 combines the project case of K Hydropower Station designer in Africa to apply the above-mentioned process.From the application results,this process has made significant contribution to the smooth realization of the project objectives,and similar projects have great reference in the future.Chapter 6 is the conclusion and suggestion of this paper.Under the international EPC mode,the general contractor designer is the key to achieve the project objectives,and its risk management will directly affect the target value of the whole project management This set of process is suitable for the design institutes in the early stage of transformation to use for reference.We hope that in the future,more and more authors can make more and better research on the designer's risk management,and can use more diversified methods And means to make verification.
