The Study On The Strategy Of Building Vitality In The West Street Historical District Of Baoding City

With the change of people’s life style and the innovation of new technology,historical block has become the main bearing place of people in urban life,and it is also an integral part of the process of urban development.However,in the wave of urban expansion and old city renewal,too much emphasis on economic benefits and face projects has led to serious homogenization of historical blocks,lack of characteristics,decline in quality and lack of vitality.In the field of planning,with the continuous enhancement of the concept of public participation and people-oriented,as a historical block carrying the urban memory and historical and cultural heritage,it is once again concerned by all groups and individuals.In 2019,the academic conference held by China Urban Planning Society with the theme of "vitality of urban and rural areas and beautiful human settlements" will enhance the research enthusiasm of academic circles and industry.How to better use big data means and combine with the concept of "people-oriented" to shape vitality has become a hot topic to meet people’s yearning for rich spirit and better life.This paper selects the West Street of Baoding City as the research object,which not only has important practical significance for the protection of historical and cultural heritage,but also makes a great contribution to the research of historical blocks in China to a certain extent.Based on the review and summary of the development context,current situation and trend of conservation and Renewal Research of historical blocks at home and abroad,this paper summarizes and analyzes the theoretical research and practical situation of Xidajie street,and conducts a detailed empirical study on the current situation of Xidajie street by using the method of field research and statistical analysis to find out the problems This paper analyzes the practical experience matched with the West Street for reference,summarizes the planning strategy of vitality building combined with advanced concepts,and explores the implementation path of the strategy.First of all,through the preliminary analysis of the crowd aggregation degree and crowd distribution characteristics of the West Street historical block,and the field survey data collection and verification supplementary research in the aspects of the flow of people and business vitality,and in-depth research and analysis of the West Street from the two dimensions of time and space,the crowd analysis,business form analysis,environmental analysis,and the crowd and business form of the West Street The results show that there are a series of problems in the aspects of population vitality,business economy,cultural heritage and space environment in the West Street historical block,such as the inconsistency between the commercial orientation and the development orientation of the ancient city,the serious homogenization of business forms,the lack of culture and population vitality,the serious destruction of the street style,the lack of infrastructure,and the space for public activities Low utilization rate.Secondly,in view of the existing problems in the West Street,after a detailed study on the ways and methods of historical block renewal and protection,this paper tries to put forward specific vitality building strategies from three aspects of "people","industry" and"environment":four strategies,namely,the promotion of population vitality,the excavation of human and historical resources,the innovation management of business status,and the optimization of space environment,so as to promote the renewal and protection of Baoding historical district To carry out.Finally,through the concept of "catalyst" and "smart city",the paper makes a"small-scale,gradual" planning guidance on the lack of vitality of the West Street,and tries to explore the implementation path of vitality construction from the aspects of cultural heritage excavation,business form planning guidance,material space optimization and so on,so as to guide the renewal and protection of Baoding West Street historical block,with a view to Baoding City West Street The lack of vitality of the street has changed.At the same time,it also hopes to provide inspiration for the vitality building of other historical blocks in China.However,due to its own level,there are still many deficiencies in the current research,which need to be further explored in the future.
