Population size is an important indicator for policy making,economic measurement,evaluation of social development and planning and construction.Spatial vitality is an external representation of the number of population activities,and the accurate acquisition of population data is a central issue in planning and design.How to effectively and accurately obtain urban population information is a pressing issue in the current planning and design field.With the development of internet technology,big data and open data,quantitative urban research has broken the shackles of data indispensability,bringing new development conditions for spatial vitality research,providing a real-time and objective perspective for planning and design,and making up for the shortcomings of traditional research.It is worthwhile to explore the differences between the various types of spatial vitality measures and the different evaluation methods for the same spatial vitality influencing factor,as well as the relationships between the sources and the evaluation methods.The study firstly reviews the basic theories of spatial vitality and finds that the research on spatial vitality is mainly based on two perspectives: vitality measurement and vitality influencing factors,then summarizes and compares the data sources and analysis methods used for spatial vitality measurement as well as the types of vitality influencing factors and evaluation methods,selecting two measurement sources,namely Baidu heat map and mobile phone signalling data,as well as walkability as the main factor influencing vitality and The walk score and the spatial sentence method were selected as the measurement methods of walking accessibility.Secondly,the spatial vitality is measured using Baidu heat map and mobile phone signalling data,and the spatial and temporal characteristics of the measured spatial vitality are described,and the spatial and temporal characteristics of the spatial vitality measured by the two sources are compared and coupled,and the similarities and differences between the two sources and the adaptation scenarios are summarized.Finally,the walking accessibility is measured using the walk score and the spatial sentence method,and the spatial characteristics presented are described,and the spatial characteristics of the walking accessibility evaluated by the two evaluation methods are compared and coupled,and the similarities and differences between the two evaluation methods are summarized,and then the Pearson correlation analysis,linear regression method and two-factor combination mapping method are used to study the correlation,influence relationship and coupling between the two measurement sources and the two evaluation methods,influence relationship and coupling,and summarize the relationship and applicability between them.It is found that the two different spatial vitality measures of Baidu heat map and mobile phone signalling data have similar patterns of temporal changes,but there are differences in specific time nodes and values.In terms of spatial distribution,the spatial vitality distribution of the Baidu heat map shows a decreasing pattern from polycentric to peripheral,while the mobile phone signalling data shows a decreasing pattern from single core to peripheral,with low coupling between the two types of data,and the fineness of the Baidu heat map is higher than that of the mobile phone signalling data.Both the walk score algorithm and the spatial sentence method show a decreasing pattern of walking accessibility from the centre to the periphery,but there are differences in the specific walking accessibility values and spatial distribution,and the two evaluation methods are generally coupled.There is a positive correlation and positive influence between the spatial vitality measurement source and the walkability evaluation method.The correlation and coupling between the walkability and spatial vitality evaluated by the spatial sentence method is higher than that of the walkability index,the correlation and coupling between the spatial vitality and walkability measured by the Baidu heat map is higher than that of the mobile phone signalling data,and the correlation between the spatial vitality and walkability measured by the weekday is higher than that of the rest day.The correlation and coupling between spatial vitality and walkability measured by Baidu heat map and mobile phone signalling data are higher than those measured by mobile phone signalling data,and the coupling between walkability and spatial vitality measured by mobile phone signalling data is lower than The spatial vitality measured by the Baidu heat map is better than that measured by the mobile phone signaling data in the selection of the source.
