Research On The Vitality Of Changsha "Wuyi" Commercial Block Based On Multivariate Data Analysis

The commercial district is always at the core location in the city or area,it is an important part of modern city life.The vitality of commercial blocks is one of the important factors that influence the sustainable development of commercial districts.It can not only bring popularity to commercial districts,but also enhance the commercial interests and display the features of the city.With the continuous development of city informationization,the Internet and all kinds of new network trends emerge endlessly,changing the way we work,think and live.The filtration of using data analysis to study various phenomena in urban and rural planning disciplines will enhance our ability to solve urban problems,to do scientific research and rational planning.Based on the theoretical research on the dynamic factors of commercial blocks,this paper makes an in-depth study on the factors affecting the vitality of commercial blocks by using data analysis software such as GIS and spatial syntax.Taking the "Wu Yi" commercial district in Changsha city as the research object,this paper quantifies the vitality factors of the block in order to explore the development and evolution mechanism and trend of the construction environment of commercial districts under the new situation,to provide strategic thinking for building the vitality of commercial blocks,and promote the sustainable,organic and healthy development of commercial districts.Firstly,the external representation of the vitality of commercial block and the evaluation dimension of the constituent elements were extracted from the previous studies.Then,according to the external representation and block vitality,corresponding evaluation indexes are selected,such as population density,location,internal traffic organization,space,and functional status.Multivariate data was applied to the analysis of evaluation indexes.Intensity of population activity is analyzed by Baidu heat map data;The neighborhood,transportation and space were analyzed by network axis.Functional properties were analyzed by using POI data.Thirdly,according to the dynamic evaluation system,the "Wu Yi" commercial district was selected as the study case.Through the analysis of the multiple data,the characteristics of the block that having important influence on the vitality were obtained by means of inductive analysis and correlation analysis,and the correlation between the activity intensity of the population activity on working days and rest days and the various functional states was analyzed.In the end,we try to refine a way to further stimulate the energy of the business block by applying urban design theory.On the basis of basic research and data research,it's concluded that location advantage,high accessibility of internal transportation,suitable road network density,recognizable spatial form,intersective functional business mode,reasonable positioning and uniform layout are important factors to promote the vitality of the block,which is conducive to the promotion of street popularity.
