Abstract/Summary:
Highway is an indispensable and important infrastructure in modern society, and plays an important role in the circulation of commodities and economic development The rapid development of China’s highway business has achieved world-renowned achievements and is an important part of "China’s speed." In recent years,China’s economy has been able to achieve such rapid growth, and the mature highway network has contributed greatly. It is of great significance to actively promote the construction of highway. However,at the same time, the high difficulty, high complexity, long construction period, extremely high management difficulty, increasing labor cost, land acquisition cost and other issues of highway construction have also greatly restricted the further development of highways in China.Schedule management is an extremely important part of the construction process.Inadequate management will not only increase the cost, but also cause some negative social impacts. At present, most of the domestic highway construction progress management is based on traditional management methods such as project managers’ grasping and correcting the project progress, and the application of advanced project progress management technology is limited. The critical chain method considers resource constraints and human constraints. It emphasizes the overall rather than partial optimization of the project, and has already verified its applicability in the progress management of large-scale construction projects such as real estate construction projects, but the application research of this method in highway construction progress management is still relatively small. This article takes the JP Highway Y-Bid Project as the research object, and discusses its deferred risk points and problems in progress management in view of its current status of progress management.Due to the large resistance to the demolition and resettlement of the Y-Bid section, the original construction plan was postponed, and there were many units participating in the construction, and it was difficult to communicate and manage. The traditional critical path method was used, and the resource constraints and human factors were not considered sufficiently, resulting in the original progress management plan has not been completed as scheduled. The critical chain method can fully consider various constraints such as resources and take human factors into consideration. It is very applicable to use the critical chain method to optimize the progress management of the Y-Bid section. In this thesis, when the original schedule cannot be completed on schedule, the critical chain method is used to re-develop the Y-Bid project schedule,re-estimate the project duration, balance resource conflicts, and insert into the buffer zone.A buffer monitoring model is set up to monitor the progress of the entire project and propose a series of progress control measures. In the end,it not only made up for the 2 months delay in land acquisition, but was 35 days ahead of the original planned completion date, which fully verified the applicability and superiority of the critical chain method in the progress management of highway construction projects. The application in highway project progress management provides a reference.
