In the new peroid of rapid development of market economy,performance management theory has been accepted by business managers in all kind of industries in China,and gradually plays a positive role in business management practice.For landscape engineering enterprises,how to improve the level and quality of project management through the optimization of performance management,and then enhance the efficiency of enterprise production has become one of the important issues for the senior management in the landscape engineering enterprises.S company is a large-scale landscape project construction unit,and it has a high reputation and honor in the industry,which is based on its profound industry background and practical experience manager.With the increasing competition and the demand of industrial upgrading,S company also realizes the importance of performance management technology in the construction of landscape engineering projects.However,although the project performance management of the company has been implemented for many years,it has no obvious effect on the improvement of enterprise performance.Futhermore,the single management mode of one-sided implementation of performance management even leads to a negative incentive effect on the enthusiasm of employees.When the performance management mechanism can not play an incentive role,it becomes the useless tools which couldn'tmeet the actual needs of enterprise development and construction project management.This paper will take the construction project of S company as an example,starting with the current performance management mode,and it will also analyze the current situation and existing problems of performance management through interviews and questionnaires: 1)Lack of recognition of performance management.The performance management system can not effectively support the strategic objectives of the enterprise.The management of the company does not attach great importance to the performance management,and the weak implementation leads to a low sense of identity;2)The limitations of performance indicators.The unreasonable setting of performance evaluation index and weight causes various contradictions in the process of implementation;3)The failure of feedback mechanism.There is a lack of performance communication and feedback between leaders and employees at all levels of the company,and complaints are not smooth.In view of the existing problems,analyze the causes one by one,and preliminarily get the corresponding countermeasures and principles to solve the problems.Then using the scientific theories and methods of key performance indicators,balanced scorecard,goal management and 360 performance,combined with the characteristics of construction project operation of S company,the objectives,methods,operation mode,key performance indicators and feedback mechanism of project performance management are optimized.The optimization plan attempts to improve the understanding of performance management of all levels of the company by an effective performance system,improve performance management and implementation efficiency,strengthen the ability of all management levels to control performance appraisal,and strengthen the communication and feedback between the upper and lower levels of the company by using modern management theories.The author hopes to design a set of performance management system in line with enterprise development planning and employee recognition,and provide some reference and help for similar enterprises to optimize project performance management mode.
