Research On Construction Management Improvement Of Cement Plant Project Of Laos

Since the “the Belt and Road Initiative” put forward by General Secretary Xi in2013,Chinese enterprises,especially Yunnan construction enterprises that have entered Laos and other countries to undertake a large number of infrastructure projects with the geographical advantage.Entering Lao construction market,making rigorous and precise construction management,and creating high-quality products have great significant to Yunnan construction enterprises and even Chinese enterprises to “go global” and to the emplementation of China's “the Belt and Road”.There are a lot of researches on foreign projects and international projects,but there is a lack of discussion on process management of engineering constrution in Lao projects..From the perspective of the implementors of construction management in Laos,this paper summarizes the problems that have occurred in construction management in Laos for many years by using the methods of summarizing experience and questionnaire surveyThe main problems are as follows: First,the employees turnover rate is high.When employees work in foreign countries for a long time,they couldn't handle family,economic income,personal growth and other aspects issuse well.Second,the economic benefits need to be improved.The construction projects in Laos still use Chineses construction methods.The enterprises didn't combined with Lao national conditions that failed to find creative working methods and use effective resources.Third,the professional management level of employees is low.It is difficult to achieve the management objectives.The enterprises need to improve busniess capabilities of employees by strengthening professional training.Fourth,the maket share of Lao construction market is not high.The incomes of enterprises should be incresed by improving the comprehensive management level and covering the shortages of overseas sectors of company development strategy.For above problems,this paper proposes improvement measures to promote the sustainable development of enterprises in the Lao market from the aspects of team building,system establishment,improving comprehensive competitiveness,strengthening risk control,fulfilling corporate social responsibility,integrating into Lao regional environment and sustainable development and so on.And this paper combinedwith the characteristics of overseas construction environment that explores and discusses the better measures for enterprise construction management in Laos,and provides some reference for other construction enterprises to enter the Laos market.
