| The US forklift market is currently the most demanding forklift market in the world.Most of the internal combustion forklifts they use are short-wheelbase solid tire forklifts,which are characterized by small size,compact structure and comfortable operation,especially for the noise of the truck.The forklifts currently developed and used in China are all long-wheelbase pneumatic forklifts.Develop energy efficient and compact internal combustion forklifts,which will improve the sales of China’s internal combustion forklifts and increase the market share in the US market.In this thesis,a combination of virtual design,theoretical calculation and experimental verification is used to design and develop a 2.5-ton compact internal combustion forklift,and to reduce noise.This thesis mainly doing the following research and development work.1.Analysis of the demand for energy efficient and compact internal combustion forklift.In-depth research in the North American market,as well as a large number of domestic and foreign data,requirements of the forklift are consistent with North American emissions,low noise,compact structure,low center of gravity,small outline size,strong overload capacity,simple and reliable structure and so on.2.The overall design and main parameters of the energy efficient and compact internal combustion forklift are determined.The overall design requirements were put forward and the vehicle parameters were determined.A compact gearbox was designed to achieve compact vehicle requirements with a reduced wheelbase,reduced backrest and front overhang.The computer software is used to virtually design and optimize the steering linkage mechanism of the steering axle,and the steering angle is increased to reduce the minimum turning radius of the forklift.3.The drive system of energy efficient and compact internal combustion forklift is designed.According to the vehicle parameters and performance indicators,the computer software is used to match the engine and the gearbox to determine the main parameters of the engine and hydraulic transmission gearbox,and the speed module and energy-saving module are developed.Based on the characteristics of the compact forklift,the drive system,power system and steering system are designed to perform finite element analysis on the key components.4.Research on noise reduction of energy efficient and compact internal combustion forklift.A noise reduction scheme is proposed.A combination of virtual design and experimental verification is used to develop an air intake muffler.The noise of the whole vehicle is reduced by 2dB(A).5.Performance test of energy efficient and compact internal combustion forklift,and each indicator basically meets the project requirements.After the prototype production and vehicle testing,the results basically meet the requirements of project development.After a small amount of improvement and small batch verification,the forklift trucks have been mass-produced and sold to the United States,contributing to the company’s increased efficiency. |
