With the rapid and stable development of China's economy, urbanization process has been accelerating and urban-rural integration has led to rapid urban expansion and blurred borders, resulting in rapid growth in regional travel demand within and between urban agglomerations.Particularly,in recent years, the rapid development of regional rail transit has provided a solid guarantee for the travel of passengers in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, the Yangtze River Delta region, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau District, and the Chengdu-Chongqing region.Regional rail transit consists of multiple modes of rail transit systems. There are passenger flow connections and transfer between various modes of rail transit systems, which causes the interaction and influence of operation organizations between different modes of rail transit systems. Therefore,in order to meet the travel service requirements of passenger flow between different modes as much as possible,it is necessary to coordinate the transportation organization of multi-mode regional rail transit.Based on the theoretical analysis, this paper studies the coordination and optimization of diagram of multi-mode regional rail transit.Starting from the concept definition, the characteristics of different rail transit operation diagrams were deeply analyzed. And then models were constructed and solved by using the exchange of passenger flow as a link. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by examples verification.Firstly, based on the definition of regional and rail transit, the concept of regional rail transit was given.According to the different scope of service, the different regional rail transit modes were divided into different levels, and the functions and position of each modes were explained respectively. The characteristics of passenger flow and the factors of the operation plan were also analyzed.Based on these work, the theoretical foundation for the regional rail transit organization was laid.Secondly, the definition of multi-mode regional rail transit was given, and the coordination connotation of multi-mode regional rail transit was analyzed in detail. The key points of integrated coordination organization of multi-mode regional rail transit were expounded from the three aspects, which were objectives, content and key of coordination organization. It was proposed that the core of the multi-mode regional rail transit coordination organization was the coordinated optimization of the train operation diagram. On this basis, the mechanism of coordinated operation of multi-mode regional rail transit train diagram was discussed in depth, and the coordination and optimization of multi-mode regional rail transit diagrams was studied from the aspects of objective and method. The model was built between high-speed railway and urban rail transit.Thirdly, considering the impact of the transfer passenger from high-speed railway to the urban rail transit, and the coordinated optimization model of the multi-mode regional rail transit train operation diagram was constructed by adjusting the urban rail transit operation diagram to adapt to the arrival passenger flow of high-speed railway.Firstly, for a single transfer station formed by the intersection of two urban rail transit lines, the coordination optimization model was established with the minimum transfer waiting time as the target, and then Genetic Algorithm based on elitism strategy was designed to solve the problem. And then further, for the multiple transfer stations under the urban rail transit network conditions, the original model was expanded and NSGA-II was designed to solve this model. Finally, the effectiveness of the constructed models and algorithms were verified by case verification.
