Study On Traditional Landscape Elements And Construction Characteristics Of Towns Along The Chuanjiang

The construction of urban landscape in the traditional context of China is deeply rooted in the cultural origin of Shan-shui and the practical tradition of nature exploration.The integration of towns and surrounding mountains and rivers into the overall human settlements environment is closely related to the local natural base,historical process,industry and human characteristics,which has a broad vision,clear hierarchy and rich implications.Therefore,to combing and construct the traditional urban landscape elements system and summarize its spatial distribution and organizational construction characteristics is of great guiding and referential significance for the construction of a pluralistic urban landscape elements system in the contemporary context,strengthening the local landscape pattern,and promoting the coordinated development of towns and scenery.Towns along the Chuanjiang are located in the Xiajiang region,which are the typical mountainous towns.In addition,influenced by the long history and multi-regional culture,the town landscape has the historical and local characteristics.Through the relevant geographical records,such as “Fang Yu Sheng lan”,“Yu Di Ji Sheng”,“Shu Zhong Guang Ji”,the local chronicles of towns,the collection of poetry and other abundant historical materials.Combing the characteristics of regional natural base sites and urban construction,this paper attempts to sort out the types of traditional landscape elements and construct a system.Six typical towns along the route are selected to analyze and summarize the organizational distribution characteristics of the traditional landscape elements in each town under the macro,medium and partial horizons.Based on the above analysis of the organizational and distribution characteristics of landscape elements,this paper summarizes the construction characteristics of traditional urban landscape in the aspects of element system construction,construction motivation and spatial layout.Therefore,guided by the wisdom and experience of traditional landscape construction,this paper tries to reconstruct the urban landscape facing the present situation.The research is divided into four parts as a whole:The first part summarizes the macro-regional characteristics of the Chuanjiang from the aspects of nature,humanities and urban construction,which are "showing the overall feature of the river based on the natural background","building multi-regional cultural corridor relying on waterways" and "forming regional urban pattern through inheriting the development process".In the second part,through combing the historical materials of relevant geographical records,local chronicles and poetry anthologies of towns along the line,the construction elements are extracted and classified,and the close relationship among the construction elements is sorted out,and the overall construction process formed by "inspecting the natural environment and shaping the whole environment"," conform to the terrain to build the towns by divisions"," constructing traditional landscape by means of suitability " are summarized.And focus on the analysis of the natural conditions of Shan-shui and urban construction as the carrier of the types and characteristics of landscape construction,to try to build the landscape elements system.The third part extracts the spatial geographic information expressed by urban maps and public maps of towns,supplemented by relevant data comparison,and carries out information translation and spatial positioning of landscape elements with the help of HGIS tools.Through the analysis of the organizational layout of the traditional landscape elements in six typical towns along the line,the paper concludes the coupling relationship between the landscape distribution and landscape in macro-view,the synergy and integration of the landscape distribution and towns in meso-view,and the organizational layout law of the important local landscape groups formed by the convergence of landscape elements in partial field of view.The fourth part,based on the above summary of the construction and organization of traditional landscape elements,combines the local characteristics of Chuanjiang from the macro vision.It is concluded that the traditional landscape of towns along the line has the characteristics of "abundant connotation and complete system".Its construction and development are driven by the cultural motive of "rooted in the region and inclusive";and the overall organizational layout has the distribution characteristics of "coupling mountains and rivers,gathering and dispersing together".Therefore,taking the theory and approaches of traditional urban landscape organization construction as the signficant reference,the strategies and practical attempts of urban landscape organization and reconstruction in line with the current context are "maintaining and continuing the local superior landscape pattern","reshaping the spatial order and overall landscape of urban landscape" and "highlighting the regional humanistic image and stimulating the vitality of landscape".In summary,from the regional perspective,this paper summarizes the prominent local characteristics of nature,humanities and urban construction and development along the Chuanjiang.Based on the expansion of the research field of "landscape",this paper combs the relationship between "Shanshui-town-landscape" from the broader scope and perspective;thus,based on the natural landscape environment and the urban construction environment,clarifies the connotation and extension of urban traditional landscape,combs its levels and types of elements,and tries to construct the elements of urban traditional landscape.At the same time,with the help of HGIS spatial analysis tools,six cities along the line are selected as examples to explore the organizational characteristics of landscape elements in different horizons;while establishing the overall spatial order and cultural coordinates of cities and towns,the distinct regional and diachronic characteristics are summarized,which have important foundations for continuing the urban context,stimulating spatial vitality and creating the place of belonging in the current construction environment.Supporting and guiding significance of practice.
