Research On Information Service Demand Of Transformed Workers In Coal-to-Gas Environment

The coal-to-gas project is the product of the structural reform of the supply side of our society,which has brought great changes to people's lives.Many labor-intensive industries are also undergoing transformation,optimization and upgrading.The disappearance of traditional industries is bound to be accompanied by the emergence of emerging industries,and the position of emerging resource-based industries is often highly specialized.Most basic-level workers in coal industry have single vocational skills and weak ability to absorb new knowledge.Therefore,it is the main purpose of this paper to explore the information service needs of transforming workers under the background of coal-to-gas conversion in China,so that "government + enterprises + third-party departments" can provide information services more in line with the needs of transforming workers,help transforming workers achieve re-employment,and further promote social transformation and development.Firstly,on the basis of summarizing the research status of information content demand,information access channels,influencing factors of information demand,obstacles of information service access and Information Service Countermeasures of migrant workers at home and abroad,this paper elaborates the relationship between vulnerable groups and transforming workers,information demand and the concept of information service demand of transforming workers.Secondly,this paper combines information service theory,Wilson's information demand model,usage and satisfaction theory,Vickery's S-C-R model and related literature.Five dimensions of transforming workers' individual characteristics,information awareness,information content service demand,information channel service demand and information service institutions are divided.Thirdly,through in-depth interviews,this paper supplements the various dimensions of information service demand of transition workers,and extracts the barrier dimension of information service access of transition workers.The research framework of information service needs of transitional workers has been revised to provide basis for designing questionnaires.Finally,this paper uses questionnaire survey method to collect data,and analyses the current situation of information service needs of transforming workers in Beisan County.On this basis,the main characteristics of information service demand of transforming workers under the background of coal-to-gas conversion are discussed,and suggestions for improving information service are put forward.In this paper,205 valid questionnaires were used as samples for statistical analysis.The results show that the transition workers have the characteristics of low educational level and low economic level.In addition,education level is the most fundamental individual characteristic factor that causes the overall weakness of information awareness of workers in transition.The most demanding information for workers in transition is poverty alleviation,wealth generation and education.The top five common information channels are mobile phones,computers,television,relatives/fellows/acquaintances,and radio.The main purpose of Internet access is to look at news and current events casually and to inquire about the information needed.In general,the proportion of transitional workers to information service institutions is very low.The poor service quality of propagandists,the lack of knowledge of where information is needed,and the single access to information are the three main obstacles to the demand for information service of transitional workers.On the basis of the above research results on the information service needs of the transitional workers,this paper puts forward pertinent suggestions on information service optimization of the "government + enterprise + third-party department" in the three counties of Beisan.It is of great practical significance to develop and innovate the information service management system of our country and to realize the rapid transformation of the transformed workers.
