The Maiji Mountain Grotto Art is one of the four Buddhist caves in China.It ret.ains a large number of unique clay sculpture art.Not only is the Buddha sculpture vivid,the image content is rich and colorful,it has a unique national aesthetic charm,and the murals in the cave are recorded.Many interesting cultural customs show a rich and colorful national culture in the history of Chinese art.Today,the society promotes the diversity of culture.This article applies material cultural heritage to Wenchuang products,develops nationalized local design,create products that are regional and national,and tries to raise the national cultural heritage to a new height.The article takes the characteristics of grotto statues in the material and cultural heritage of Maiji Mountain in the Northern Wei Dynasty as the starting point,and carries out the design research of Wenchuang products.Firstly,the paper sorts and summarizes the data of Maiji Mountain Grottoes,and analyzes the artistic characteristics and connotation of Maiji Mountain statues from the perspective of design through the investigation of consumer demand,and extracts the features and postures of the grotto statues in the Northern Wei Dynasty.And the elements such as clothing lines are screened and reorganized to form the main image of the product in the Maiji Mountain area.Based on this,a series of living items close to life are designed to enable the people to experience the artistic conception and taste of traditional Chinese art.This promotes the inheritance and development of national culture and highlights the characteristics of national culture.
