The Maijishan Grottoes in the light environment not only affects the protection of caves murals and statues,also affect visitors visual experience,The exquisite Clay Sculpture Statues and murals in the grottoes are unique?Therefore,it is necessary to prevent direct light to damage the cultural relics in the grottoes,As a Buddhist architecture,Visual perception directly affect the Buddhist spirit conveyed.Therefore,the need to create a good viewing effect,restore the authenticity of the vision Maximally.This paper first introduces the background and artistic value of the Maijishan grottoes,sums up the research status of the light environment of the domestic and foreign architecture,Through the thorough understanding of the basic concept of optics,reference to the protection of cultural relics of the exhibits and display light environment at home and abroad standards,to analysis the maijishan grottoes protection of cultural relics and display light environment standard,expounds the variable factors such as light mouth forms,plank road and humanities of maijishan grottoes light environment,the influence of variable factors,such as the form of light collecting mouth,expounds the plank road and humanities on the light environment of Maiji Mountain GrottoesIn the field survey,a group of grottoes were selected to measure the illuminance in the East and West Cliff.The selected caverns were 34 and 37 of the east cliff,and the 140 and 142 of the west cliff,The internal and external illuminance of the selected caves was measured on s unny days(summer)and cloudy days(winter),and the light environment status inside and outside the grottoes was analyzed by the measured data..and sums up the present situation of the light environment of Maiji Mountain Grottoes.Ecotect and Radiance software are selected as the simulation software of this study.After determining the boundary conditions,the optical environment is simulated on the selected grottoes,The simulation results are compared with the measured results,and the accuracy of the data is verified by each other.the simulation is also complemented by the actual measurement,The simulation results reflect the light environment status and problems of Maijishan Grottoes more intuitively.According to sums up the problems,on the premise of protection of caves and the first principle,to improve of maijishan grottoes plank road,daylighting,simulation of the improved grottoes outside light environment change,the quantitative analysis to improve after the change of value,At the same time,it is suggested that artificial lighting should be added to make up for the shortage of natural light,and suggested that the grottoes increase artificial lighting to make up the lack of natural light,the comprehensive utilization of natural light and artificial lighting protection of relevant research results,combine the information collection,analysis of the measured and simulated results.It is hoped that the light environment protection and design research of the grotto space will be enlightened.
