China has a long history,a large number of sites and cultural relics will be thousands of years of cultural heritage.Maiji Mountain Grottoes is one of the four grottoes in China. The longevity of cultural relics in maiji mountain grottoes depends on the effect of the environment in which cultural relics are placed on them.Among the environmental factors for the preservation of cultural relics, the most basic and frequent factors are the temperature and humidity of the air. This paper first introduces the excavation background and artistic value of Maiji Mountain Grottoes, and summarizes the protection and research status of grottoes sites at home and abroad.Secondly, this paper briefly introduces the main diseases of Maiji Mountain Grottoes at present, expounds the damage mechanism of temperature and humidity changes on the murals and other cultural relics in the grottoes, summarizes and analyzes the main factors affecting the thermal and wet environment in the grottoes in Maiji Mountain, and focuses on the influence of geological meteorology and cave morphology on the thermal and wet environment of the grottoes in Maiji Mountain. In the field survey and measurement, three caves with different shapes were selected for temperature and humidity measurement. The selected caves are cave no.127,101 and 25.Measure the size of the selected caves, the internal and external temperature, humidity and airflow speed of the hottest month in summer and the coldest month in winter, and the temperature of the inner wall of the caves.According to the measured data, the hot and humid environment in Maiji Mountain Grottoes is summarized.CFD software was selected as the simulation software for this study. After the boundary conditions were determined, the temperature and humidity fields of the selected caves were simulated, and the simulation results were compared with the measured results to verify the feasibility of CFD method in predicting the hot and humid environment in Maiji Mountain Grottoes. The simulation results under other working conditions are studied to further analyze the thermal and wet environment in Maiji Mountain Grottoes, and more intuitively reflect the problems existing in the thermal and wet environment in Maiji Mountain Grottoes. In this paper, the corresponding improvement measures were proposed to solve the existing problems,so as to provide a theoretical basis for the protection and research of Maiji Mountain Grottoes, and an experimental basis for the control of appropriate thermal and humid environmental parameters in the grottoes.
