Permeable asphalt pavement is an environmental and ecological mixt ure structure with large pores,and generally has a porosit y o f 18-25%.It has good drainage,ant i-skid and no ise reduct ion funct io ns,and a better driving safet y and comfort.Since permeable asphalt pavement can meet t he construction requirements of "sponge cit y","safe transportation" and "green transportation",it has a good applicat ion prospect.However,due to the large porosit y and less contact area o f aggregate,problems o f short service life,poor pavement durabilit y,early damage such as rutting,cutting and loosening o f aggregate,will occur,even the permeable asphalt pavement paved wit h mo dified asphalt that has high viscosit y.Epoxy asphalt has the advantage of high strength,strong adhesio n and good chemical corrosio n resistance.Based on a series o f stud ies about epoxy asphalt permeable pavement have been carried out,epoxy asphalt has been proved to be a good potential so lut ion for the problems above.We developed a so ft,toughening and reinfo rced epoxy asphalt materials,on the basis o f epo xy asphalt material which is developed by our research group,and the requirements of permeable asphalt pavement,which are high strengt h,high toughness and high flexibilit y.The mixing design,road performance,durabilit y tests and evaluat ion o f epoxy asphalt permeable mixt ure were carried out by using the flexible and high strength epoxy asphalt material system developed by our grou p.Besides,we also impro ved the "post-doping method" and construction equipment,and achieved the paving and ent it y pro ject applicat ion of " post-doping method" after the inno vat io n process o f epoxy asphalt for the first time.By adding the chemical react ion components of epoxy asphalt step by step,it can effect ively so lve the problems o f short construction allowable time,demanding constructio n requirements and difficult construction for he exist ing epoxy asphalt mixture.The research result s can provide a so lid foundat ion for the wide applicat ion of epoxy asphalt permeable pavement.The main research results and co nclusio ns are as fo llows:1.Bonding material wit h high strength and flexible epo xy asphalt permeable pavement was prepared by using natural rubber emulsio n,on the basis o f testing a variet y o f co mpariso n schemes of increasing flexibilit y and toughening.2.A met hod of quick design of aggregate gradat ion for epoxy asphalt permeable pavement was carried out,by int egrat ing the mixture design methods such as bailey method,SAC and CAVF.3.The road performance,such as high temperature,low temperature,water stabilit y,etc.,and permeabilit y coefficient,skid resistance performance,of flexible epoxy asphalt ogfc-13 permeable mixture,were systemat ically tested by using laboratory tests.We also tested durabilit y evaluat ion by using MMLS1/3 accelerated loading,and the dynamic modulus by u sing UTM.It is shown that the stabilit y o f Marshall can reach 28.45 kN,which is about 3 times of ordinary high viscosit y asphalt.The dynamic stabilit y can reach 18280 times /mm,which is more than 2 times of ordinary high viscosit y asphalt.The flexural ten sile strain is 2441??,the flexural and tensile strength is 8.84 MPa,the residual stabilit y is 87.1%,and the ratio of freeze-thaw splitt ing strength is 89.0%.It is proved that the developed high strength and flexible epoxy asphalt ogfc-13 permeable mixture material has high strength,good flexibilit y,strong resistance to water damage,and is a kind o f road surface material wit h superior performance and lo ng-life.4.Associated wit h paving equipme nt and mechanical manufacturers,we developed and improved the supporting equipment for the construction process o f "post-doping method" and realized the successful paving and applicat ion o f "postdoping met hod" of epoxy asphalt for the first time.
