| Ding village was listed as one of the key cultural relics protection units in Shanxi Province in 1961 and one of the key cultural relics protection units in China in 1988.It is a precious object for studying northern folk dwellings.There are more than 40 well-preserved dwellings in the village,with a history of 400 years.Built from the wanli of the Ming dynasty to the end of the Qing dynasty,the building is large,exquisite,richly and elegantly decorated,and well preserved.It is the material to study the precious traditional cultural heritage of our residential buildings and architectural decoration.Through field research,literature collection,and comparative analysis,this paper discusses the formation and development of Ding village,the overall layout of the Ming and qing dynasties residential buildings in Ding village,as well as the development and evolution of architectural decoration.The in-depth study of Ding village will deepen the society’s understanding of its historical value and artistic value,and promote its further protection. |
