Study On The Planning And Development Of Small Towns In DaTong

Since the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee of the Communist Party of China,with the continuous reform of the rural economic system,it has clearly pointed out that small towns should be properly concentrated in the process of development and gradually become the center of regional development.Under this policy background,with the growing economy and the gradual advancement of urbanization,the status of small towns has become increasingly prominent,and gradually developed into an important function of assuming the local political,economic,cultural,educational and health centers.As the node of urban development,small towns are also the link and bridge of urban agglomeration development.They play a vital role in urban regional development.In 2014,Zhejiang Province was the first to emerge,and even later the whole country was in full swing in the cultivation and construction of "characteristic towns" and "characteristic small towns",which highlighted the status of cities and towns in the development of urban construction.In recent years,from the experience of the construction of smalltowns with characteristics in southern Shanxi,we can see that the construction of small towns with characteristics covers a wide range,there are many elements of urban and rural coordination,and the design content is also innovative.As the second largest city in Shanxi Province and the stronghold of northern Shanxi Province,Datong,it is also of great significance to study the development of its small towns.On the basis of on-the-spot investigation of small towns in Datong City,this paper summarizes the influencing factors by analyzing the current situation and features,and tries to construct an evaluation system for the development mode of small towns in Datong City,so as to solve the problem of industrial selection in the process of development of small towns,and as a basis for planning and development of small towns,to guide the development planning of small towns in Datong City.At the same time,the article chooses Gudian Town as a practical case to analyze its social,industrial,ecological and spatial characteristics within the scope of small towns with Gudian characteristics.This paper combs the opportunities and challenges faced by the development of Gudian,explores the modes,strategies and paths of the construction of small towns with Gudian characteristics,and finally provides decision-making basis for fostering and promoting the construction of small towns with Gudian characteristics from a relatively comprehensive perspective,and verifies the practicability of the evaluation system,and finally provides ideas for guiding the planning and development of small towns in Datong City scientifically.
