Reserch On Shanxi DaTong Greenway Planning:under The Urban Transformation Background

In the 1980s, industrial society had developed rapidly,While,it’s legacy and spread of the current post-industrial society, "thousands of city side" is no longer the proper noun in experts or leaders meeting,Now, residents have deeply appreciate the meaning of these words.They have no choice but to find the way far away from the city. Today, in the context of globalization,many resource-based、 single-function cities have been faced with urban transformation; rapidly transforming life styles;serious ecological problems; fuzzy urban personality(characteristic), above these will offer an opportunity of multi-function, multi-level construction of greenways.Based on the methods of field investigation, literature research and case analysis,as well as reference to the completed project, the paper has preliminarily discussed the concept,classification of greenways, the methods of planning and design about greenways also has been researched. On this basis, through the analysis of resource character of Shanxi Datong,the paper comes up with a strategy of Shanxi Datong Greenway. The design is intended to show the city style, based on the urban road、 resources and other basic conditions, with continuity、 ecology、 safety、 landscape、 and surrounding land use as well as other factors to selected the system and to established the design strategy, in the opportunity of Datong’s Urban transformation,the greenway will link resources, stimulate urban vitality, improve city features and financial development.
