The year 2021 marks the century of the Communist Party of China(CPC).Standing at two historical knots in it’s centenary,a new journey has begun to fully build a modern socialist country.Since the reform and opening up,China has experienced the largest and fastest urbanization process in world history.Since the 18 th CPC National Congress,General Secretary Xi Jinping has attached great importance to urban work and made systematic development in the new era.The fifth Plenary season of the 19 th CPC Central Committee proposed that "a new type of industrialization,it application,urbanization and agricultural modernization should be basically realized and a modern economic system should be built." Basically realize the long-term goal of socialist modernization by 2035.Urban development has driven the whole economic and social development,and urban construction has become an important modernization engine.The construction of a socialist modern city is an important goal in the new development stage.Historical and cultural block is an important area of urban modernization construction and a gathering area for human survival and development.Materiality,culture and spirit have been formed in the accumulation of time.Historical and cultural blocks contain rich social significance and cultural representation,connect with the lives of local people,and shape of the cultural context of the city.The relationship between historical blocks and urban communication is reconstructed on the basis of multi-oriented communication.From the perspective of Marxist history,first of all,a scientific understanding of the history of urban development is conducive to planning the developing direction of historical and cultural blocks of a city.Secondly,the masses are the creators of history,and local people have promoted the development of historical and cultural blocks through a series of changes in social relations.Finally,the historical and cultural block are the unity and diversity of the social type of urban development.Since the 18 th CPC National the rapid development of economy,population,and peripheral transportation industry.The historical and cultural block has become a new landmark of the city with new vitality.It’s function is no longer just a space for people to live and communicate,but a symbolic space.The natural reconstruction of technology not only reconstructs the social form and interpersonal relationships,but also reveals the rich relationship between communication and space hidden by the institute of structural functional construction,providing an entrance for urban spatial communication and reorganizing the relationship between historical and cultural blocks and urban communication.This study takes Beiyuanmen Historical and Cultural Block in the central city of Xi ’an,the ancient capital,as the research object.This physical space is understood not only as an important platform for the generation and dissemination of urban culture,but also as a media space for continuous production.The historical culture it inherits is refined and sublimated in urban communication-as a symbol consumption space,it shows the changes of social media and the production process of space.From a diachronic and structural perspective,it shows the rupture of some social relations and the formation of new spatial production.Combining the knowledge of history,sociology,communication and other disciplines,based on the literature,field investigation and interview are adapted to the meaning of historical and cultural blocks.At the level of urban communication,how the historical and cultural blocks were expropriated and faced with the disintgration of identity and environmental pollution and other problems.The first part of introduction is the background of the topic,research ideas,research significance and research problems are clarified.Secondly,it summarizes the research at home and abroad,evaluates the research status of historical and cultural blocks,defines the core concepts and possible innovations.This part answers why this topic is studied,what kind of research method is adopted,and what kind of research goal is to try to achieve.Finally,the theoretical degree and theoretical
