Urban Theme Hotel Design

With the continuous development of economy and society,people are no longer satisfied with the living and decoration styles of modern and contemporary ordinary hotels.Some fashionable,popular and cultural themes are gradually popular with people,so there is the rise of theme hotel design style.The characteristics of ordinary hotels,such as single living function and weak decoration,are too single for modern and contemporary consumers and lack of enough attraction.Consumers have higher and higher standards of accommodation,so it also urges hotel design to be updated.In order to develop a city’s economy,besides the support of ordinary hotels,we need to inject new blood,that is,personalized characteristic hotels.Theme hotels are one of the most important types of characteristic hotels.Theme hotels pay more attention to cultural connotation,more in line with the development needs of modern and Contemporary Urban Hotel industry,and meet the aesthetic needs of consumers.This paper briefly expounds the basic concept of theme hotel and its development status at home and abroad,and studies and analyses the classic cases of theme hotel at home and abroad.Then,according to the aesthetic needs and aesthetic intentions of modern and contemporary people,the theme of the City Theme Hotel-Industrial theme is established,and the design characteristics of industrial style and related elements of the industrial revolution period are simply extracted.Finally,a waste site in the city is planned and designed.From the base site selection analysis,plane layout,architectural design,interior decoration effect and external landscape design,industrial style is the theme of planning and design.The name of the hotel is I.R.I.R is the abbreviation of Industrial Revolution.It means the Industrial Revolution.It is precisely because of the Industrial Revolution that industrial style develops.This project is not simply to express the theme through architectural appearance or basic decorative form,but to highlight the theme as far as possible in the overall layout and even details,to create the quality of the mood and mood of living;not simply through the visual experience of the theme,but through the spiritual experience,to get a wonderful experience.In fact,this is what many theme hotels in China lack most.They often only stay on the visual surface,ignoring the connotation.It is a long process of exploration how to achieve a soul-based theme design in a real sense.At the end of this paper,the author will make a brief summary of the whole theme hotel design,put forward the shortcomings in the design and a prospect for the future.The author also hopes to provide a suggestion and train of thought for the future development of the city theme hotel industry through the design of this scheme.
