Research On Design Of Industrial Style Theme Hotel Under The Transformation Of The Old Factory Building

With the deepening of China's urbanization process and the continuous optimization of the industrial structure in recent years,the industries that once made great contributions to the country's construction and development have gradually dropped out of people's sight,leaving a large number of old factories recording the industrial history,facing abandonment and transformation.Today the transformation from old factory buildings to commercial space is very extensive,especially the characteristic of theme hotel.At home and abroad,there are many excellent practical cases,but a lack of theoretical research exists in the old factory building reconstruction to theme hotel,as well as the style of transformed hotel is various,lack of theoretical guidance in the process of practical transformation.Therefore,in this paper,we study the design of industrial theme hotel transformed from old factory buildings,to talk about the suitability and design method of industrial theme hotel transformed from old factory buildings.This paper starts from the background of the old factory building,theme hotel and industrial style to clarify the definitions,related contents,concepts and research status of the three.Secondly,by using the methods of field investigation and case study,this paper makes a comprehensive analysis of a large number of hotel cases of old factory transformation and actual investigation cases.To extract from worth learning design points and find out their deficiency,based on the above research for the theory and experience,we analyse the suitability of transformation from old factory building to industrial theme hotel,and summarize its scientific and advanced design methods.Finally,we take the old plant of Maintenance Workshop,Shengli mines,Fushun Mineral Industry Group Co,Ltd as a practice case to reconstruct industrial style theme hotels,which consist of accommodation,catering and leisure complex.This reconstruction intuitively witnesses the principles of design and their applications are visually verified.All in all,it is of great reference value to turn the old plants into the industrial style theme hotels in the future.
