Study On Design Of Millennium City Park Theme Hotel

With the deepening of China’s reform and opening up,the sustained economic growth and the rapid improvement of the level of national income,the development of China’s tourism and hotel industry has undergone unprecedented changes.According to the promotion of culture and tourism industry by the Ministry of culture and tourism,major historical and cultural parks across the country have been continuously improved and upgraded,bringing a new look to tourists.Culture as the soul and tourism as the body,building characteristic brands and integrating culture into specific projects to make them visible,touch and taste have become the urgent task of current cultural tourism.Based on this,this paper takes historical and cultural tourism as the background,takes the theme hotel affiliated to the tourism area as the research scope,and takes the theme hotel of Millennium City Park historical and Cultural Park as a case study.Based on the theoretical research of Historical Park and theme hotel,this paper compares the typical cases at home and abroad,analyzes their similarities and differences,summarizes their design principles and strategies,and applies them to the later design practice.Based on the detailed field investigation of Millennium City Park and its surroundings,combined with the Qingming shanghe tu(Ascending the Riverat Qingming Festival),this paper summarizes the lack of culture,theme and experience of the surrounding hotels,so as to realize the necessity of the construction of theme hotels.By means of questionnaire survey,understand the needs of different consumers for theme hotels.Then it proposes to build a theme hotel in the park,and shape the theme characteristics with the design principles of spatial narration,interactive experience,ancient and modern integration and scene reproduction.In the design strategy,take the Qingming shanghe tu as the cultural carrier,extract the corresponding materials for presentation and transformation,create a theme space,and enhance consumers’ emotional and spiritual needs for history and culture.The design practice of Millennium City Park theme hotel has a certain reference value for the construction and improvement of similar historical blocks and parks.
