Research On The Application Of Ship Culture Symbols In Theme Hotel Design

With the rapid development of economy,people’s material civilization has been continuously improved.Entering the 21st century,with the continuous growth of people’s income,tourism has also been developed rapidly.In the face of the continuous change of market and consumer demand,the traditional hotel type has some limitations.In order to cope with the competition of the market and meet the increasing spiritual needs of people,the characteristic hotel emerges as the times require.How to do a good job of characteristic hotel is a topic in front of our space designers,so this thesis focuses on the design of Hotel Theme Culture.The hotel closely combined with cultural theme is not only in line with national policies,but also in line with the material and spiritual cultural needs of the market and consumers.It can not only realize the basic functions of general hotels,but also integrate culture,memory,emotion,spirit and other aspects.The author chooses the application of ship culture symbols in theme hotels to study this topic.Firstly,it combs the relevant knowledge of ship culture,including the development and characteristics of ship culture;secondly,it summarizes the artistic representation of ship culture symbols in detail,focusing on the design principles and techniques of theme hotels,This thesis summarizes the application strategy of ship culture symbols in the theme hotel space,and finally applies the theory to the design practice,and explores the application of ship culture symbols in the theme hotel design through their own design works.In the design practice,the selection,design and application of ship cultural symbols mainly rely on the ship itself,take the innovation and application of ship cultural symbols as the guidance,and use abstract methods to strive to create Theme Hotels with humanistic and historical characteristics,It provides a way to explore the effective combination of ship aesthetic art and modern hotel design.
