As a manufacturing-oriented production method,prefabricated building is a major change of the way of construction.Promoting prefabricated buildings will help improve labor productivity and construction quality and safety,reduce construction pollution,save resources and energy,and shorten project cycles.However,due to insufficient understanding of design methods,fragmentation of design requirements of different stages,and low storage and conversion efficiency of prefabricated building knowledge,design changes are frequent and design efficiency is low,which causes a series of technical and management problems.Based on the feature of continuously inserting,extracting,updating and modifying information,BIM(Building Information Modeling)provides an information-rich,interoperable,three-dimensional visual collaborative platform for all project participants to support decision making during the whole life cycle from conceptual design stage to demolition stage.This study carries out researches on the prefabricated building design method based on BIM technology.This study aims to improve design efficiency and help make scientific design decision by establishing a systematic prefabricated building design framework,which consists of a new BIM-based design process and a design decision support platform.And this framework can also help accumulate,share and reuse the design knowledge and design experience of prefabricated building.This study mainly completes the following work:(1)This study provides a systematic framework to improve design efficiency.The proposed BIM-based design process gets rid of split analysis and detailed design that of two time-consuming links in traditional prefabricated building design process and integrally considers design requirements of multi-phase and multi-professionals through taking BIM models of prefabricated component products as design objects.It can which can hugely improve design efficiency and design quality.A design decision support platform based on cloud model recommended algorithm is established to make the propose design process implemented smoothly and promote the virtuous cycle of the accumulation,share and reuse of prefabricated building knowledge.(2)This study establishes an effective storage and sharing mechanism for prefabricated building knowledge.On the one hand,parametric design method is used to express fragmented design requirements,which avoids design changes caused by fragmentation of requirements,and realizes professional knowledge from individuals to enterprises.On the other hand,the proposed design decision support platform proposed provides a more systematic solution for the storage,sharing and reuse of enterprise knowledge.(3)This study realizes scientific decision-making of design management.This study adopts the component recommendation system based on cloud model theory,which combines the cloud model theory with the Minkowski distance,effectively deal with the uncertain information,and comprehensively summarizes each cycle different evaluation results to provide designers with effective component recommendations.
