Tourism-oriented traditional villages have become the object of consumption for urban tourists because of the development of rural tourism. They are required to transform the village society and space with the needs of tourists, which changes the original social-spatial relationship of the village, resulting in the evolution of the village space form in different ways.In this case, the impact of the evolving spatial form on village residents is ignored. Therefore, this dissertation links the spatial form of tourism-oriented traditional villages with the sense of well-being of residents and provides a reference sample for the theoretical study of the spatial form of tourism-oriented traditional villages.Selecting Dangjia Village and Yuanjia Village in the Guanzhong area of Chinese traditional villages lists as research objects, using mixed research methods to explain the intrinsic relationship between the spatial form of tourism-oriented traditional villages and residents' well-being,thus avoiding the limitation of the single design.Firstly, the relevant concepts of this dissertation are analyzed and defined, and relevant theories are sorted out. Then, combined with the literature review and the results of field trips, the elements of the spatial form of tourism-oriented traditional villages are refined, and the assumption that the component factors of spatial form can also influence the well-being of residents is proposed. In addition, the structural modeling(SEM)is used to quantitatively construct the correlation model between the spatial form of tourism-oriented traditional villages and the influence of residents' well-being.Finally,the deeper reasons for the results are qualitatively analyzed through theoretical knowledge. The conclusion of the research is that the spatial form of tourism-oriented traditional villages can be divided into two types: differentiation mode and fusion mode.Furthermore,it can be seen from the results of residents' well-being measurement scale that the residents' well-being of the tourism-oriented traditional villages in the differentiation mode is lower than that of the fusion model. In addition, the results of the data analysis of the model can be used to conclude the correlation between the spatial form of tourism-oriented traditionalvillages and the sense of residents' well-being.The natural, artificial and cultural elements in component factors of the differential spatial form have the positive correlation with the well-being of residents;spatial and social economic factors have the negative correlation on the well-being of residents. The spatial, artificial, social economic, cultural, and residents' behavioral elements in component factors of the fused spatial form have positively correlated effects on residents' well-being.It shows that the spatial form of tourism-oriented traditional villages has both positive and negative impacts on residents' well-being in the process of evolution in different directions.
