| In recent years,the construction industry’s construction capacity has been continuously enhanced,and the scale of the industry has continued to expand,but there exists a big but not strong contradiction.Based on the shortcomings of the research on the service innovation capability field of construction enterprises in China’s specific situation,this paper deeply analyzes the interaction between the heterogeneity of top management team,employee innovation behavior and service innovation capability of construction enterprises,and clarifies the key elements of internal construction of service innovation capability.It not only provides theoretical support for service innovation capability of construction enterprises,but also has important practical significance for organizational management practice and sustainable and healthy development of enterprises.Firstly,through combing and analyzing the existing literature,it clearly defines the connotation of the top management team,employee innovation behavior and service innovation capability of the construction industry,and develops and establishes the conceptual model of the heterogeneity of top management team,employee innovation behavior and service innovation capability of the construction industry.Secondly,select the construction enterprises among the top 500 construction enterprises released by China Construction Enterprise Management Association in 2018,and use the questionnaire survey method to collect 318 valid questionnaires and use SPSS18.0 and Amos21.0 for data analysis.The interaction mechanism between the heterogeneity of top management team,employee innovation behavior and service innovation capability of the construction industry will be deeply explored through testing the hypothesis.And the factors worthy of attention and research will be determined to improve the service innovation capability of construction enterprises.The empirical test results show that:(1)The heterogeneity of top management team positively affects the service innovation capability and its various dimensions.Among them,the heterogeneity of top management team has the strongest influence on IT experience.(2)The heterogeneity of top management team is positively affecting employees’ innovation behavior.(3)Employee innovation behavior and its various dimensions positively affect service innovation capability.(4)As a complementary intermediary,employee innovation behavior plays a part in mediating the relationship between executive team heterogeneity and service innovation capability.Based on the empirical results,it provides practical management suggestions for construction enterprises so as to improve their service innovation capability.Finally,according to the empirical results,the construction industry enterprises will be provided with organizational management suggestions for improving service innovation capability and competitiveness.Major innovations:(1)In the research content,it integrates the existing research theories,and pays attention to the role of the top management team and employees in the service innovation capability of construction enterprises.A conceptual model of the relationship between the heterogeneity of top management team and service innovation capability is constructed with the employees innovation behavior as the intermediary.(2)From the perspective of research,it improves the existing service innovation theory based on manufacturing and service industries,explores the service innovation capability of construction enterprises,and opens a new world for domestic construction industry innovation research.(3)On the research issue,the new theoretical problem is identified and described through literature analysis,which leads to the search and creation of the new theory that the employee innovation behavior is the intermediary variable of the relationship between the the heterogeneity of top management team and service innovation capability. |
