Rural Revitalization represents that the Chinese Government have paid a great attention to the development of the country. The methods used to make rational and efficient use of rural internal resources, how to coordinate the dilemma between resource development and natural environment breakdown, and how to promote the healthy development of rural areas by means of planning have become the focus of research and attention in both political and academic circles.based on the "past-present-future" time line, reviews the past with participatory interviews, evaluates the present situation according to the survey data, and explores the future development path of xinmin village by means of planning. That is to say,the first-hand data are obtained by using questionnaire interviews.Based on the comprehensive grasp of the status quo of xinmin Village, the spatial evolution data of xinmin Village are analyzed by using EXCEL,and the spatial expression of relevant data is realized by means of GIS.According to the time line of "past-present-future",the dynamic evolution of "building space, road space, production space and ecological space" in the study area is comprehensively analyzed, the characteristics of the spatial evolution of xinmin village and its impact framework are summarized, and the evaluation index system is constructed to quantitatively evaluate the sustainable development ability of rural areas. In addition,we explored the sustainable development of rural areas in mining areas based on the qualitative and quantitative analysis,.Existing problems in the exhibition, and make the corresponding planning response and optimization strategy. The main conclusions are as follows:(1)The main evolution characteristics of the living space in the villages are as following: flat expansion, continuous increase in density, from low to high, differentiation, hollowing out.Since the 21 st century, there has been a trend of three-dimensional expansion of building space, the change of building form, the increase of road space density and width, the change of production function and production space, and the unsustainable development of ecological space with the development of resources.(2)The evolution of the rural residential space in mining areas are influenced by many factors, including policy and economic factors, natural environment factors, social and human factors, road traffic factors, historical and religious factors.(3)Based on the analytic hierarchy process(AHP)and DPSIR framework model,we evaluated the sustainable development capacity of villages and villages. The results show that the sustainable development capacity of villages is low,and the coordination between resource development and natural environment is poor.(4)In view of the serious population hollowing, imperfect public service and infrastructure, and unreasonable industrial structure in the study area, this paper puts forward that the current situation of village development should be addressed by strengthening industrial planning, historic protection planning, and continually improving public service facilities and infrastructure,as well as village construction, space, roads and landscape renovation. In order to optimize the space of "Sansheng" in Xinmin Village and promote the sustainable development of agriculture and rural areas.Through the research results, while deepening the sustainable development of rural agriculture and rural areas in mining areas, this paper puts forward the planning practice according to the situation of villages, which can provide ideas for the revitalization of rural areas in mining areas and provide reference for related theories.
