Environment Assessment Of Pedestrian Space In Campus Town Based On Subjective Willings Of Users

Walking activities are the basis of all kinds of activities of college teachers and students in the university town.The walking space of university town serves as a place where all walking activities happen,and it has the most direct and close contact with the daily life of the teachers and students.In order to give teachers and students in the university town kind of good walking experience and feelings every day,we need to pay attention to the quality of the walking space environment.At present,in the process of construction and development of many domestic university towns,users can't get a good walking experience in the university town.There are still some problems in the walking space,which needs to be improved.Based on the needs of the university population,this paper try to build an evaluation method for the university town walking space to improve existing problems.Based on the environmental perception lens theory model,the research will initially establish the evaluation objectives,direct clues and indirect clue of the environmental assessment model.Then the research is going to analyse the characteristics of walking space in university town.Through the analysis of the population characteristics,the characteristics of walking activities and the influencing factors of walking travel,the paper will summarize the real needs of users of the walking space and determines the target layer content.Using the literature research method and certain mature evaluation criteria,the paper will establish university city pedestrian space environment evaluation index initially after adjusting the evaluation system according to regional climatic conditions and the characteristics of the university city itself.Through the questionnaire survey of the subjective will of the user,the final evaluation index will be obtained,and the index layer content of the evaluation system will be determined.Taking Shenzhen University City as an example,the study is going to use the assessment method to evaluate the walking space of it.The study will select certain sub-area to do the specific walking space environment assessment and research.According to the problems reflected by the evaluation results,the specific walking space environment optimization strategy will be proposed to improve the environmental quality of the walking space of Shenzhen University Town.
