Study On The Evaluation And Optimization Strategy Of The Walking Space Of Yue Lu Mountain University Town Subway Station Area

With the increasingly severe urban traffic conditions,the status of subway construction in urban development strategies is becoming more and more important,Walking is a necessary way for pedestrians to take the subway.The walking space is a space that people must pass through.Whether the design of the walking space around the station is reasonable not only affects people’s use of the subway,but also adds r ich public activity space and bring a new lifestyle.The subway in Yuelu Mountain University Town has a short running time,and some stations are still under construction.The study of the walking space in the subway station area of Yue Lu Mountain University Town can provide a reference for future construction.In this study,the walking space in the subway station area of Yuelu Mountain University Town was taken as the research object.Taking into account the various needs of users in the walking space,three main activity stations in the university town were selected as the survey objects.The survey is conducted through methods such as map marking,on-site counting,field visits,and interviews,so as to analyze and evaluate it from two aspects: objective analysis of space composition and subjective evaluation of satisfaction.The objective analysis of the composition of walking space is mainly carried out from three levels: structural level,functional level and cognitive level;The subjective evaluation of walking space satisfaction is mainly based on 22 influencing factors,which are summarized into five aspects :safety,patency,convenience,comfort and vitality,which are conducted through questionnaires and interviews.Finally,based on the 6 shortcomings from the survey of walking space in the station area,four directional optimization strategy are proposed:Optimize road design and fine design details;improve infrastructure and improve comfort experience;create vibrant streets and create interesting spaces;continue historical context and show regional characteristics.And based on 4 strategies,specific optimization methods are proposed.I hope to effectively improve the walking space environment in the subway station area of Yuelu Mountain University Town and promote green travel.At the same time,I hope that this research can provide a research basis for future related topics.
